Mats is a top-notch guy, he's been very generous and supportive of me and my channel as well. And if I ever get to shake your hand in person please be gentle, that's one wicked grip you have to break parts out of solid bar, lol!

Nice work mate ! Those clamps will prove more useful than you first thought - move one set away and you have a pre trammed stop on you table that can assist with setting up angle plates , dividing heads and much more ! Definitely have to make a set for my mill ! Thanks for the very enjoyable videos Ade !

Nice job Ade! On the subject of breaking out the table by jacking up with the treaded rod going through the tee nuts , Mr Pete , Lyle Peterson, has a video of I believe a German made rotary table that has lumps broken out on the tee slots and he said he was sure some " bubba" had jacked the slots out by bottoming out a bolt through the tee nut and that the sets you buy should not let the suds or bolts go through the nut. I checked mine and he was correct, they don't let the studs go right through. Stay safe Ade and your loved ones. I too am in lockdown in my shed here in Essex as I am in a risk category as well.

Nice job Ade. You can now make a square/rectangular plate (1/2 inch thick) that bolts to all 4 base blocks that has a centre spacer underneath the same size, use as a fixture plate (full of tapped holes) and if you find a slim 3 jaw you could fix to it for round stuff etc. Totally universal. Well done again, great idea. Jon

The rectangular part at 2:20 is a height gage adapter that comes with a last word indicator (at least that where mine came from), the rod with the 45° slot at 3:30 is a holder for radius gages and the like.
@kailibxanitoez35283 жыл бұрын
I have the same. And know 3 others that do. it was standard for that indicator.

The tool with the little slot on the end is for holding small scales to measure in recessed areas. The holder is also good for holding radius gages.

Hey Ade, love your videos. I’m make a new set of clamps for my 5” vice, mine will use pins in the vice holes. An idea to consider, I mount my vice on the end of the table, leaving a fair amount table space for other fixtures of clamping directly to the table. Occasionally I swap ends to even out ware on the ways. Keep the videos coming, I’m under a shelter in place order in the state of Minnesota, USA.

Since the vise is pivoting on its centre point, the adjustment should be half the error, eg. if the error is 5 thou, adjust it by 2.5 thou.

Hi Ade, I am the admin for a campaign channel, trying to save our two local NHS hospitals from being downgraded - something which you no doubt know all about with the case of Withybush? Totally nothing to do with our campaign, but I too am a hobby machinist, and I've been enjoying watching some of your videos during isolation etc. and would love to send you some of our stickers for your sticker-board. Would that be ok? If so, please email me at info@koshh.org and I'd be very pleased to pop some in the post to you. Keep making your engaging content. I'm learning a lot!
