I've used Shadow Owl branch skills but I replaced Shuriken skill with Blazing Owl's Aerial Ace skill (it's like Uppercut of Gladiator but with knock up effect on the target). That way you can surely hit the follow up skills Raikiri and Shiranui

Yes, that's a good idea. Played Blazing a bit and Aerial Ace is real good for cc in PVP and will make it easier for Raikiri n Shiranui to land. Will try it more. My gripe replacing Shuriken with Blazing is that getting Night Owl Protection will be a bit harder (maybe not so much if I Raikiri 1st and 3rd seal, will try), and I won't be able to get the atk% buff from Shuriken's seal. Especially if my build is noncrit and not favouring Shiranui's crit rate buff. But the buffs while great, they aren't everything and sometimes getting the combo to land is more important.

Hello and welcome to TLON. Sorry late reply. Shadow Owl is best played manual. When you are Shadow Owl, 1 use of basic ninja skill gives minimum 25% chi (even the 2 Blazing Owl ones available, and they could give more), normal attacks also give you Chi. If I want to stack dmg inc buff, I press the Clone "5th skill" first then press Raikiri to get the dmg inc buff. I usually clone then Raikiri or Shuriken for dmg inc and atk seals. To activate the buffs, press the ultimate Night Owl Protection, and you'll have the buffs for 15s.

Hello! I haven't played mechanician in a while so I think challenge of pairing shadow with mecha will be how you combo all the summons and buffs. your tenacity will be quite low if ninja/craftsman class pairing too because both their class advancements lack tena

ninja lancer class pairing is not something I thought of. Especially since Blazing, Shadow, and DF have a lot of "secondary skills" in their combo. And it takes time to charge up both chi and dragon blood energy, so you may not use their skills to their full potential if you pair them together. Sounds like a fun experiment though. I think some people may try Shadow Owl as a buff class instead of Priest, because I find Shadow Owl have potential to be versatile. Priest's buff is waaay easier to activate though. Who knows, someone may discover and share a great combo in time.

Does shiranui break cc? When release when youre being controlled pushes the enemy back. Does it break crowd control effect then?

Hello CJ! This is a good question. Shiranui can actually cancel immobile status like those from Milim's lock skill. I don't know why I forgot to mention this in any of my Shadow Owl videos, maybe next one. However, it cannot cancel things like knockups. It can make you retreat from things like Moon Slash, but not cancel things like its movement slow effects. Feel free to test Shiranui against more control effects.

@@night-will I would really like to know if there's a way I can do that. I got into this game and I'm playing an antiheal build out of sheer spite for the priest meta, So kirigakure is the path i went mixed with Gladiator. There is sadly no way to test this except making a friend who's willing to and that's not exactly my forte.

@@CJdgamer If not testing with a friend, only way is to have another account you can go on at the same time to test with. Can either test via PVP in Sophila or in miasma boss.

Hello, which is better in PVP? Blazing owl or shadow owl and I noticed you used diablo than Dahlia. Does diablo works better on Ninja than Dahlia?

Hello! Actually I didn't set my ff team for this CB and went with what I had so I didn't pick Diablo over Dahlia for ninja. I like Diablo silence in most cases, but Blazing Owl already has silence so up to you if want to have more silence or not when playing Blazing. Dahlia if you want to reverse your opponent's regen into damage. Some people been using it against me and I think it can be good in Burning Soul poison specialty or vs Gladiator Priest. Dahlia's passive gives you more def and hp regen too if you need those. A lot of ppl in my server are playing Blazing Owl. The combo is quite flashy and the silence and stuns are useful. But I find Shadow Owl can have high damage especially when you find a nice combo. But if you don't lock your opponent, they might find Shadow skills easier to evade than Blazing. So for which is better, I say if Shadow Owl doesn't work, you can try Blazing. I find Blazing Owl's combo more straightforward. Honestly because ninja doesn't have much sustain, and not much crit break or block from class advancements (but it has pierce, dmg increase, ignore block), I won't use it much in things like Burning Soul since I am limited in my choice of stats vs my opponents.

@@manniegonzales4442 Blazing's silence, stun, mobility as there are skills that make you blink/dash, combo is good 1v1. It's just Burning Soul has Crit Specialty, Block Specialty, and those specialties may not favor ninja because of the stats from class advancement. But depends on your stats too. Other specialties may not be so disadvantageous for ninja. Shadow I haven't tried much yet 1v1 but I think in true 1v1 classes with control skills can find more ways to interrupt Shadow Owl than Blazing, but I might be wrong. Shadow has some control immunity. Its ultimate (Night Owl Protection) gives you a shield based on max HP, and super armor (immune to knock up and knock back) for 6 seconds. Blazing's Omni skill also has 3s super armor.

Hello! HP Steal is there but not the main thing. Fairies like Milim, Hibiscus and Almond Blossom have abilities that help with healing or HP regen. Priests' heal also has HP regen over time. Green emblem has block recovery that helps regen HP when you proc block. Just a few examples. If playing Gladiator, Moon Slash and Punitive Chop also regens your HP.

@gotahnangko3813 Yes, if regen when other dmging us it is usually because of things like regen over time abilities and block recovery. If it is HP steal, HP steal only have chance to HP regen when you deal damage. It been a while since I made this vid so if u point me out which timestamp with HP regen I can figure it out for you.

Hello! If it gets you to Holy Echo 5 it's worth it as the effects of holy echo 5+ are good in PVP. If you are upgrading from holy 5 to 6, and above, it depends on the stats you are getting from assist fairies too. Maybe a red or rainbow elemental fairy is better than yellow 3 holy for assist fairy stats. So have to see upgrading echo stats vs assist fairy stats.

Hola Santy! I still need to try the new class more especially vs people not using ninja but so far I like the update. Easy 8/10 at least. Quite a lot of people are trying it and it gives new challenges to PVP. As time passes we'll see better how it compares to other classes, and whether there's any new strong class pairing with ninja instead of just priest. Thanks for watching!
