Idk why people consider classic only not using bastions classic should be using all the classic 1.16 strats, like the old one cycle, and no using mods or calc like back then

Run without bastion. You mine gold nugets to craft ingots or just find gold in village/portal/fortress chests and barter for pearls with will randomly spawned piglins. Because you don't have that much gold as in bastion, you will probably need some beds from village or sheeps and mine obsidian from portal if you wanna travel through nether. It is called classic because this was how speedruns were executed early after 1.16 release. Bastion routes were not a thing back day.
