on the note of balancing maybe i can make a suggestion/ yappage here for people to read, comment on; a little story. There is a nuance with under-barrel grenade launchers that hinder their performance in certain combat situations, and I have an easy “fix”, but it will affect the balancing of these weapons by making them more useful. When a GL underbarrel is equipped, player characters wield the weapon in a stance where they prop the barrel upward, as if they are ready to compensate for a long-range target and the drop of a shell at least 50 meters away. This makes it challenging to aim and use these weapons effectively against targets in these two types of situations: at close range, and against targets who have a lower elevation. I think some modified controls should be added to manipulate the grenade launcher barrel for these situations. For instance: blind fire is disabled with underbarrel grenade launchers. That could be changed. The current situation causes short fuse shells to be more dangerous to the user. An operator should be able to manipulate his weapon and point the gun barrel down at a close-range target, and from whatever stance is necessary. Pg Up and Pg Down could be reprogrammed to allow for "negative zeroing" which would address this issue. I just died like this from the GP-25 in shoreline resort. I tried to "thread the needle" through a hole in the floor but ended up with a Darwin Award because of this. What do you guys think about GL buff?

@@OttoPussner My bad you guys, i should have un soupsandwiched this piece for the internet scrollers out there. Long story short, the design of GLs should be human, very easy to use. Pg up and Pg Down could allow for more downward angling of the GL *from the hip fire stance. also Blind fire would be nice to use with GLs, for some reason it is disabled.

@@threatmakerMartyrdom has been in the game for a long time, but its only for AI. Also, continueing about GL balance: Single shot grenade shells don't always work, even on direct hits, unless that has changed recently. It might be too op to blindfire the shotgun shell but at this point there are a lot of 1 tap situations, I don't think it will impact map flow since campers will have karma impacts in the future. Maybe you can elaborate what exactly is OP about GL? I think availability of these items are pretty rare, but not scarce. Ur probably not dying to GL as often as other more meta gun builds in 762x51

The purpose to the bolt action recoil buff is because when you click to shoot, if you hold the mouse button you won't chamber another round until you let go. This enables you to keep an eye on where you're shooting, and then you can see where your bullet lands which enables you to adjust your aim accordingly

its going to reset, still it's not that hard to complete hidden hand, anyone wearing a decent backpack will count. So it's more of a passive thing while you play. This includes Scavs and Raiders with a backpack equal or greater then a ScavBP

Im glad Tarkov is becoming more PvE friendly. I played nothing but SPTarkov for the longest, but with PvE and if updates like these continue for PvE, I can definitely see myself coming back to vanilla Tarkov. Just really wish BSG embraced it much sooner rather than ostracize it and shut it out before realizing it was a decent idea.

Why not report everyone if there is completly zero verification? I understand the point of useless reports but its not our problem and fault. Just add pubg style match summary or some short death cam (like 3 minutes leading to death) and make it only availabile to report after you watch it. Until then I report most of deaths as everyone should.

@CertifiedArab What is spam report when you can't see enemy perspective? That game need a killcam, with let's say 2 minutes delay, now. End of story. Every single report now is a meaningless spam. I'm experienced player with years in fps games and I just won't support nonsense BSG shit eaters. That game is almost 7 years old now if I remember and despite obvious development of the game, half of playerbase left or is leaving right after first month. Even now when wipe is already far behind there is almost impossible to reliably go kill bosses because half of the time you are getting destroyed by guy with 400h/12kd/full achievements who's just farming keycards/carry for RMT.

yeah I get what you mean but to put it simply there is a reasonable line to be drawn here. There is a difference between 20 reports based on legit concerns and gameplay and 200 reports just based on anger you feel me?

@CertifiedArab I just played too much cs/faceit/pubg/tarkov to not understand how dumb and common cheaters are. It's one thing to report guy flying around you or based on too much info he had (wallhack, radars ect) But you have zero verification about any fight you take, we can rush dorms and I can use aimbot, there would be no difference for you and you might call it just fair fight. Same with radar users. That's my biggest point. Anyway it doesn't matter until they do anything to prevent it, to show how the fight ended. Or they don't. 🙃
