Thank you for showcasing this software! I am a fan of Fs2crew but I am open to competitor products! To the developer: Hi Matt, here some feedback from what I have observed so far: - engine mode selector: "set", should be "norm" - would be nice to get some feedback/ confirmation from the FO when we ask that the speed brakes be disarmed, or the flaps be retracted. Also, I think the official verbiage is that the FO confirms "speed checked" before he takes action on the flap lever. - The voice should be less robotic and more natural - maybe a 3-7 day trial period would be great. I do like fs2crew and I know what I can expect there, but I am open to try your software too! Anyway, I think you are on a good path and from what I have read so far here you are very much looking into helping everyone and accepting constructive feedback. I really appreciate this level of dedication! Thank you

Fantastic Feedback. I will do my best to implement. Concerning voices, it’s mix between Azure AI and human voices. Gavin is using Azure but there are less robotic sound packs. Again, truly appreciate the feedback!!

Youve forgot to mention that the copilot is able to fill out the whole fmc progress and uses all simbrief informations. I unchecked this option, because i like to have full control over the fmc and autopilot settings, but it is possible. It is important to check the "avgars" are active (see manual) in the fsuipc options, otherwise it may not work for the specific aircraft. I have the fbw a320 , pmdg737, crj, bae, etc. Versions. All are working more or less good as that are complex airliners. By the way, it is possible to download a free basic version, which at least working with default airplanes. You just have to buy the specific licences for complex airliners to work proper. It is working also more or less with turbo prob airliners, you may have to check the configuration of first officer. I ve used the former versions since fs2004/fs9.1...if there are problems, restart first officer next and fsuipc when you are already in flight, means inside cockpit.sometimes i ve expirienced in flight that the copilot voice is off, even the procedures, flows and checklist still continue. Then you can restart first officer in flight, just continue with the nexr checklist, which should be the decent checklist if you are cleared to decent. Maybe you have to reenter the approach speed and flaps. Or just repeat the aftrr take off checklists, if you restart firstoficer just after take off. Check the entries, most are there when imported from simbrief.

I bought it today, did a few full flights and so far I am happy with it. Installation was painless. You just have to follow the instruction re: installing FSUIPC 7 with WASM and the rest went smoothly. I don't know about this video and to all you who mentioned about the robotic voice, mine had natural non-robotic voice on stock! I guess it's the voice pack setting. There's only a minor issue I reported to Matt. The AP disengage by the FO does not seem to call the AUTOPILOT OFF, instead it calls the TOGGLE DISENGAGE AUTOPILOT which are not the same in the Fenix. Real World A320 pilot does not recommend pressing AP1 on FCU to disengage AP on the Fenix, intead click red button on the sidestick. The FSFO seems to do the former. AP1 on FCU = TOGGLE DISENGAGE AP, whereas sidestick red button = AUTOPILOT OFF. The latter is the correct way in the Fenix.

Ive got die Programme for fbw A320 and the speech is Not that robotic. Maybe I use another language voice Pack. (British and female). I think its posible to alter the speed of the voice too.

Could the developers please release a Hardcore-Fenix-Fan pro version of this program? With the first officer beginning to describe random awesome features during flight, like the various electric circuits, animated and fully functional circuit breakers and the electric circuits to where they belong, and how awesome the pneumatic and hydraulic is simulated in this bird? In a happy, cheerful and enthusiastic manner, with every monologue lasting at least 15 minutes to go deeper into the details. That would be fantastic! "Good afternoon captain" is a good start - now the FO should be upgraded t to some cool, easygoing and fully voiced cockpit buddy being capable of understanding simple dialogues like every good AI should.

I bought both the PMDG 737 and the Fenix A320 FSFO's. Difficult to install and having issues with using it. Even though is customizable, I find it a little bit cumbersome, as I am mainly used to the FS2Crew format, but decided to give it a try since FS2Crew has not released these products. I don't regret purchasing it because as others mention here, the developer is quite involved in the development of the product. When I have more time, I'll take a look at it again, but right now the learning curve is too high for me.

@@magic3646 There is a manual, as the video points out. There's also a video tutorial; however, sometimes people need a little extra help and I want to provide it to them. To be frank, it's odd as hell you would find this suspect. Do you honestly think someone would spend hundred of hours to develop a Flight Sim app, just to get control of someone computer?

Ive got the fbw a320 and the pmdg versions, next to crj, bae, and even 777 and 737next version. I first got some issues too. For me it helps to check the fsuipc avgar (or similar) if die are really loaded and activated. Helps to reload them. Restart fsuipc if needed. See also FO manual. Restart FO. If some workflows make Problems, check configuration of FO. Restart FO. That are some tricks if tried and at last it worked for me. Give it a try. One thing happens from time to time: The FO audio disappears even the checklist and Workflow continue. Then only restart of FO helps, but you can do it in flight. You only have to check the last checklist and entries.

Nice video! If I may ask... I have a Thrustmaster TCA with the Auto Brake/Landing Gear and Flap add-ons. What happens at those steps if I prefer the FO is to operate things like Engine Mode Selector, Landing Gear, etc. and these have binding in the sim with this controller?

i have an issue where when it starts any flow before engine start, ie, pre flight, b4 start flow, b4 start check and start engines, that it carries out the apu start on each flow 1st each time kills power to the aircraft and then i have to load all the fms data again.....not sure if its my setep but got latest fusipc etc. didnt do this on the FBW version i have. otherwise a good program if i could just sort that issue out

I got the fbw a320 version and at first try FO it happens to me too. This might be because GPU has been disconnected before apu bleed is fully on. It is very important to have fsuipc first running and than starting FO after when in Cockpit. Check also FO options concerning apu. Check before running FO the fsuipc avgars (or simelar) options, they have to be activated. Check in FO configuration what you d like to be done by your first officer and what doing yourself. Give the copilot time to Power up die aircraft. Check what he doing and co-check die checklists. Check if apu need is really on. Dont disturb your copilot by clicking or pushing the same Buttons he should use. That may force the opposite effect you would like to have. Read die manual first...

For the pmdg 737 is fs2crew the best on market. you can use the SOP3 procedure, its very complex with real different voices. with the Access Pack u get for every important p3d plane a copilot solution. but the best is for pmdg 737 and you have a GSX Connection.

No. It just do checklists and flows, but you have to fly by yourself or use autopilots (autoland with ILS and both autopilots on.

I appreciate this video. I prefer the checklist flow and responses on FS2Crew, but maybe I am used to it... I don't have the Fenix (yet). That whine on the engine when you were taking off in this video is just there 🙂 I like that the speech recognition just worked. I do have trouble with FS2Crew sometimes... Have been using it since first release for msfs, purchased all of licenses except for bredok, sorry for that. Hhe. Like you Gavin, I just same using it for voice recognition and trying a lot to disregard the Co-pilot flow, more than that I am quite happy, because developer will listen you, your advise, even very supportive when you have a trouble, and of course a way cheaper. Overall not bad, but a few bugs, few ineaxctitudes remain. Ill probably move back to fs2crew when they release the fenix version. fsfo works for the most part, but doesnt interact fully with the fenix. A few interactions dont work. App not very stable as well. Could be nice in the future but for now is far from fs2crew standards

been using fsfo on fenix for the past week now. i dont know if its my setup but over time i find that ATC becomes very quiet. no updates no level changes nothing. only after ive restarted the software and placed it back in sync with msfs i find that it must have frozen along the way somewhere. its so annoying having to restart it 10 times during a flight. So im still on the fence with this. hope they bring out fs2crew soon for fenix.

The only thing I ask of users is to not make the request too extravagant as I ALWAYs want FSFO to be half the price of its competitor.

these kind of programs should integrated automatically into aircrafts that we purchased, not 3rd party hardwares... First Officer should be selectable from the MCDU's menu as seen on FSX's Aerosoft Airbus series...when you left half way of the preparation in FSX's Aerosoft Airbus aircraft, the FO were complating rest of the procedures automatically.... and I was accustomed to use it...now, search in internet, then download it, then activate it before the aircraft in Cold and Dark position and etc... the aircraft developers should use their own First Officer program automatically inside their aircrafts, without an external program e.g. Fenix A320 should include own F.O. program, PMDG should include own program and etc... using an external program, errr... it's super gibberish...
