Decades after their legendary 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament clash, Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso find themselves on opposite ends of life's spectrum. A down-on-his-luck Johnny attempts redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai dojo, reigniting his old rivalry with the now-successful Daniel. This, however, reignites old tensions and ignites a new generation of fighters.
Cobra Kai, created by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, is a sequel to the beloved Karate Kid films. Originally a KZbin Red/Premium series, it shifted to Netflix for later seasons. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and takes place roughly between 2017 and 2019.
The show offers a fresh perspective on the "Miyagi-verse" through Johnny's eyes. It explores the consequences of unresolved conflict and the complexities of good versus bad. While Johnny and Daniel remain the central characters, the series also features a talented young cast including Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, and Jacob Bertrand. Familiar faces from the Karate Kid films, like Martin Kove and Thomas Ian Griffith, also return.

I'm not surprised that Cobra Kai got eliminated from the Valley. I mean, Silver cheated by bribing the referee, and the reason Cobra Kai got banned for life after 1985 was because of Kreese and Silver's cheating, so of course Cobra Kai would get banned from the Valley again.

CKN: Yeah I actually had this question when S5 ended. The whole reason that they why they wanted to compete in the Seiki Taiki in the first place was to stop Cobra Kai which is something that they already did in S5 so I figured that would be a major plot point in S6. They can't go into the tournament believing that Cobra Kai is either only to find out there that "guess what no it's not" and that it's now been taken over by Kreese & Kim. I think that in the finale of part 1 Kim and her students somehow, someway come to the Valley (with their Dojo going under a different name while in the valley) & attack the Miyagi Do's in a huge fight which Miyagi Do loses badly but are spared on account of Kim's students wanting to leave them for the tournament. In every season there's always a big fight that winds up being the turning point for all our characters is in episode 5 and that's what I think what could potentially happen: How they find out that Cobra Kai's not gone and is still in the tournament. What do you think?

We all know since this is the biggest karate tournament in the world that our boy, Miguel Diez is gonna be in it. Maybe Robby since he is Johnny Lawrence's son and maybe Samantha Laruso because she is the karate kid's, Daniel Laruso's daughter

Since his best friend terry turned on him and said johnny was his weakness, Kreese may go back to being that villian he was in the karate kid movies. But Sensi Kim may take things to far that may involve the lives of johnny, robbie and Tory, 3 individuals he has shown mercy too. Kreese may go back to the light side and get his redemption before he dies. To much of his back story has been told to not make him a hero in his end. Hes a villian most of us has grown to like....either he is johnnys father or he is the best friend to johnnys father who died whom he promised to watch over.

I think that Kreese and Sensei Kim's new and improved Cobra Kai dojo will be formed of students from Kim's dojo in Korea and students scouted in the Valley that have not joined Miyagi Fang in season 6

Just give us S6 and let's be done with this "zomg hype" dumspter fire. S1 and S2 was good but the rest just fillers with returning characters. It has almost zero repercussions, relationships and loyalty changes 24/7. Break someones arm, np all good in next episode, X wants to fight for Y Dojo, ohh wait now it's reversed, same with relationships on and on. Some don't even know if they even want to fight anymore and as for Anthony, the fat kid previously hated karate , would rather reach for a cheat code for his games, we're now supposed to think he's going to be this badass karate fighter because of the struggle with Kenny...yeah right. The series started out strong but then gone downhill for me. I honestly don't care anymore who will win in the end.

❤😂🎉 That's great ! I discovered a Karate Kid DVD package actually. With the first 3 movies . Is it true, our host is watching 2 movies on June the 9th. Unfortunately Karate Family . I have other problems to deal with. I need a new home, I am in a difficult situation where I don't feel. I can afford Justice. I watched Karate Kid 4 recently. The Next Karate Kid . It was kind of okay. But, quite a silly Far -Fetched story line , from the beginning. Like a James Bond movie ! I heard about Cobra Kai on TV , through a friend who has a great TV package .
