I need to say you guys are the best. By far the best battle reports and really professional videos. Everytime I see a new video with a army I am interessted in (and their are many), I am extremly happy. You guys explaining great, have very good camera perspectives and everyone of your team could be a comedian and is extremly pleasant. As much as I like Ravenwing... this seems almost purpose-built to avoid the best strengths the Dark Angels have against Chaos Knights. I took a whole Castellan to the face with some Deathwing Knights and lost 1 (1!) model... and like 2 wounds on a second model... then healed/resurrected back to full on my turn and overkilled the Castellan in melee by about 5 wounds. Granted, that was the old codex, but that was also before Armor of Contempt. All these big guns and big attacks really lose their shine when you can't wound on better than a 4+.

Yes we get it. Death wing are quite possibly the most unfun army in the game and do very well against armies with poorer mortal wound output. Thankfully this channel is for entertaining people and not making them go to sleep

@@cassiecaradoc2070 idk how deldar is shooting deathwing off the table in two turns unless your opponent can roll nothing but 4+ every roll and you have no terrain to obscure. Dark eldar still beat deathwing because dark eldar play the objective a lot better but getting tabled? Must have happened once if ever lol I'm glad the army is playable though.

@@Alex-dr1ez 3rd and 4th editions were very different games. Dark Lances were AP2, meaning I got no armor save, only a 5+ invulnerable.

Just a fun ruling on placing objective markers in deployments zones. It doesn’t specifically say ‘your’ deployment zone, just that one need to be in each deployment zone. My favorite thing is to immediately place one in my opponents zone in a wide open are. Or maybe I’m misreading it…

You place Objectives before determining Deployment Zones in Tempest, precisely so you can't do that 😅
