US builds formal diplomatic relations with most countries in the world, but only grants the privilege of visa free to some 40 countries, including Taiwan. And, they are all important allies.

What a biased point !! All Russia wanted from Ukraine was for the West to honour the Minsk agreement which Ukraine/France/Germany agreed with Russia..ie that Ukraine not join NATO and be neutral !!! As for China, what was misjudged ?? You expect China to follow all US policies??
