I'd rather have them test really cool and unique ideas on 4 stars because it's opening it up for free for everyone, granted you get lucky. I'm super happy that Youhu is getting this really cool QTE mechanic. Kuro is really good at mashing in other concepts from other games.

I totally agree on testing new features on 4 stars. It's great to see that Kuro's willing to explore new options like this! We'll definitely get to test out Youhu out in a banner trial but, I also hope we get to try Youhu out during an event and she's boosted to lvl 80. Just like how they boost character levels for illusive realm. Something like that so, we can fully experiment how she feels alongside other units.
