Talking about a single issue of a comic in an interesting way without spoilers is a very difficult thing to do and you make it look easy. Always appreciate watching your videos. Thanks for taking the time to make them.

Precious Metal is also my top pick, but after that it was Scarlett. I adored that book! I'm not crazy about the art in any of the Joe Books, but the story and characterization of Scarlett was fantastic to me! I'm with you on everything you read that I did too. Can't wait for you to catch up on Kaya so we can add that title to the list as well!

I’ll have to check out Precious Metal! Dang, I’m sorry to see you didn’t like Scarlett. I really enjoyed the flow and pacing, and how a lot of action happened wordlessly. Very expressive art there

I enjoyed Profane quite a bit. I am a big noir fan though. I'm also a big fan of the meta stuff going on here, plus a fan of Peter Milligan... so... yeah, I like it. Glad to have it on my pull list.

Not sure if you felt the same way but to me, Profane feels so close to how Subgenre started a few months back. Maybe this is the Deep Impact to Subgenre's Armageddon.

Wish i pre-ordered precious metal. It sold out after just 1 day of being on shelves, seems like a huge success. Also loved the story of 'falling in love on the pathway to hell'. The artwork was incredible and i found the pace out the gate was great for reading.

I finished Crashdown. I feel like the 1st issue and the last one were strong, but that Templesmith didn't have a lot to do in issue 2 and 3, and there's a lot of "talking heads" scenes that didn't engage me. I also picked up Precious Metals, but haven't read it yet. Same with Bear Pirate Viking Queen. Craig Thompson's Ginseng Roots collection released this week and I can't wait to pick it up.

@@ComicCulture Just posted my review of Ginseng Roots on my channel. I had no clue how blown away I would be by the quality of this series. It's a masterpiece and makes every other comic look like 💩 in comparison. Highest possible recommendation

Is crashdown the end of the comic or just the 1st arc?? It left a lot unfinished if it's the last one.

This is the end of the first volume although a second volume has not been announced. I'm sure the guys would love to expand!
