KB homes was selling new homes in Lakeland Florida for $175,000 3 years ago. Now it is from $340,000. Prices started dropping a little by the end of last year but still so expensive. I would buy it if my salary or my savings were rising as fast as the home prices. but my salary is the same as in 2016 and I lost 15-20% on my savings last year, so less money for down payment. It is the still bad time to buy homes (I have a small home and need to buy a 5 bedroom one due to my family size). I remember in 2016, there were lots of foreclosures sitting on the market for months (example 2 story, 20 year old, 1850sqf home with nice inground pool and fenced 10,000sqft lot in Lakeland for $124k).

I can't afford the inflated home prices in now in Lakeland area in Florida especially when I am looking for home next to highly rated schools. I probably need a second job but no time with small kids and diapers I am just too tired to look for second job.

Hey Richard I really liked this home. It seems real Comfy, Loved the Patio Steps in the backyard. It should have had an enclosed Shower, and so, so, many trees that they could do without. Están subiendo mucho los precios de ventas en Florida y veo esa casa a un precio muy alto, primeramente Florida es un estado que su terreno no es muy bueno ya q es muy débil y las construcciones en Florida no tienen sótano la mayoría que eso es bueno para fortalecer la casa y cuando la lluvia cae poco a poco la casa va perdiendo la fortalecer y empieza a romperse el piso con el tiempo Florida es muy hermoso pero a la hora de invertir se debe saber bien para evitar pérdidas más también evitar comprar propiedades que se tengan q pagar HOA

Yes... this house is way overpriced... (Maybe $200K the most). All the houses in the market now are overpriced.

Unfortunately Florida homes have been overpriced for years. Homes of this size will often go for $500k if it is in the right area.
