New construction project "Haus Hackerfeld" in Altaussee with PREFA shingles in P.10 anthracite

The beautiful residential project "Haus Hackerfeld" is located in the centre of the Styrian village of Altaussee. The aim of the new construction project was to create a housing project that fits perfectly into the typical townscape of the region and combines traditional elements with modern, contemporary living.
The project relied on companies from the region (carpentry, roofing, master builder), but also on local materials such as larch wood. The roofing, too, had to fit in perfectly with the building and the high demands of the planning team. A small-format roofing product that looks a little like a weathered wooden shingle roof, but which translates into a particularly durable material that will last for generations, was to be used for this purpose. The anthracite-coloured PREFA roof shingles were able to meet all these requirements. Due to the snowy winters, PREFA has proven itself as a roofing material in the region over the past decades. All the roofing and tinsmith work (guttering, drainpipes, roofing in P.10 anthracite) was carried out using PREFA materials, providing complete roofing as if from a single mould.
