NIL turned College Football into the NFL Free Agency and its only gonna get worse. High School Hype is gonna lead to big NIL deals that go bust, so schools are gonna look to IMG and Travel Ball to get their recruits. The issue that a lot of these young men run into is that they have never been held accountable by anybody in their life or poor behavior was excused because of their talent. We have seen countless young men like Cormani end up flaming out in college because they arent able to acclimate to the increased level of play. They have gotten by simply off of talent and havent had to commit to putting in the extra work to pair with that God given talent. With each level you advance to the talent also increases and the separation in pure ability is no longer what it was previously for the vast majority of guys. As we have seen it comes down to how much work you are willing to put in that goes along with that talent that truly separates you and allows for the jump to the NFL. It feels like Cormani was or is more concerned about the here and now, as opposed to working for the ultimate end result of the NFL.

I never heard Matt or anyone say anything about punishing anyone. The facts are simple. If he was such an “in demand” person schools would have snapped him up at the first opportunity to do so. He played like crap at Colorado last season. All the stars on a scouting sheet mean less now that he has D1 experience. Any coach is going to want his players to attend meetings and break film. Cormani doesn’t have a history of doing that. He and his agent can tell coaches anything, do you actually believe they won’t call Colorado? So we will see if a power conference team picks him up.
