I love your style because it’s always so chic and sophisticated. At my age, I’m not going to wear those super-frilly, floral, little-girl dresses that I see everywhere! I completely agree that shoes set the level of formality for an outfit, especially nowadays when dresses are worn for daytime with sneakers. Black is too hot to wear in the California summer sun here, but it’s fine for indoors or after sundown. Sadly, it’s not a good color on me, so I style my black dresses and tops with a light-colored scarf, white collar, or bright necklace, like pearls, to soften it near my face.

Love that first black dress, I have it saved to my Pinterest wishlist and this video is making it harder to resist! I'm a UK8, EUR36 in dresses, 27" waist, do you think the S is a good fit or XS or M, Cos is a bit hit and miss in sizing for me when it comes to their voluminous pieces.

I went with 38 ( I am between 36 and 38 normally). 40 would have been too big and I didn’t want the arme holes to be bigger than necessary. Btw.
