To say that God isn’t in control of everything is highly blasphemous not only does he control the entire creation and the outcome of humanity and world he is on control of every aspect with in it. He knows the beginning and the end and is in control and has already made it so. But he has given permissive will over to Humanity allowing for free will and choices just like how God allowed for years of iniquity for sodom and gamora to heap up the wrath of God before he sent fire and brimstone upon them! God is in control.. but he doesn’t interfere with free will he has given to his creation

Though I prefer the way he presents it, I see why you don’t like the language “not in control”, but it seems like you aren’t that far away from agreeing with him in the concept he was presenting. I think he wants to put it that way, because when people think of God or people being in control it tends to mean having or showing approval over everything under their control. But for example, God doesn’t approve of murder, but people do it, and because he’s in “control” they inaccurately blame him. That’s why I think they use this as the term because it makes the most sense in shorthand form.

God didn't make satan rebel, but it also didn't cause God to miss a beat when he did. God doesn't cause people to murder or commit any other sin. That is their choice, either directly or as a means of reaping what they have already sown.

@@dagman85 ok but that’s making a large assumption.. yes God is sinless but what made a perfect created being rebel against God we truly don’t know, plus we can not presume we know in our own understanding more than Satan since he’s far wiser and smarter than any creature..
