Not virtue signalling at all, but i knit socks two at a time. Learned the concept from my mother who always knitted both sleeves of jumpers/cardigans simultaneously to avoid the one sleeve curse. (I think Very Pink has a video on TAAT socks)

That is also a great solution. I had a friend who knit socks two at a time one inside the other on DPNs (as opposed to side by side on a long circ). There is always a solution!

That might be my favorite knitting joke yet. Makes me want to make a sock just to have that left over yarn. Making socks 2 at a time is on my to do list because i definitely suffer from second sock syndrome. What is the illness when you never put the buttons on? I have that too

Really cute concept! I'm to OCD to wear two different socks. That's why I dint use color striping yarn when making sticks. I don't have the vision to match the stripes, so definitely not happening. I love the fit. I could use that when the temp goes low. It's been in the 30's and my cousin doesn't turn on the heat. So keeping my neck warm is a priority! Thanks Barbara. ❤️

What is the repeat? I have your pattern and my yarn is very thin and I need to make it wider to fit over my head.

Hi Barbara, I am pretty good at reading patterns... ha ha. but as I am trying this the body directions are a bit foreign...YO, s1, k3, insert LH needle from L to R through the front leg of the slipped st and lift it up, over and off of the front of the RH needle. I am a little stuck. Do you have a U Tube on this one?

I do not currently have a video on this but I will see what I can do. I find that what is usually happening is that knitters are overthinking the instructions. It means literally what it says. But I also know that some people have different learning styles and written instructions don't work well. I will have to get a swatch set up in order to demonstrate.

Totally love this idea! As a no-neck person, though, I feel like I have a hard time wearing small cowls. Is the stitch count repeat number mentioned in the pattern in case I want to make it longer? (I have small feet so my second sock ball is usually a lot bigger than 50g anyway!!) This is a great idea!

I would rate it as an easy pattern but not novice. An adventurous beginner should be fine.
