What a great idea to just tear off the extra napkin around the edges of the wood round and then distressing it! I always just use my finger sander, but I love this idea! The truck is adorable! I’m a big truck person! I like them for every season! I just found me one almost like the one you have at my new Goodwill today! I loooove me some thrift finds!!😍😍😍Such gorgeous pieces and inspiration!! ❤🤍💙

I always try to tell viewers that the distressing/rustic look is optional. Lol I picked that ribbon up at Sam's Club a while back. I went back yesterday hoping they had more, but it was out of stock. Oooh wait! I LOVE that mason jar too!!!! The first project I created right before getting my channel, Sabrina’s Craft-nanigans, up and going a week ago, was taking that same mason jar and painting it as Americana decor! I wish I had recorded it and made that my first video! We seem to have very similar designs and taste in craftiness!❤️🤍💙 Love it! I also see you got that ribbon at Sam’s?? Am I right?! If so, I just went the other day and they didn’t have ANY at mine!😭 I got some of their ribbon enduring the spring! Such good deals! Keep on keeping on with the beautiful decor!!!❤❤❤

That’s the best part I think!❤️❤️ I gotta make a trip to Sam’s now!! Hopefully they have some! I went a few weeks ago and they didn’t have any!😭😭 I did get some in the spring though! And I haven’t had too much time to craft this weekend so far…helping a friend pack up her house and move and the best part is she is giving me ALL of her craft stuff!!! She literally has a she shed in her back yard! I made two car loads today from her place to mine and I have an SUV! Now I just gotta find a place to put it! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 I have been trying to do some small projects for a patriotic tier tray and get that video together, but not sure if I’m gonna get it done in time for the 4th!🤦🏻‍♀️ My mom , daughter’s, AND my bday are coming up, and then helping my friend today and needing to put everything up at my apartment, it may not happen! But I’ll try to get out what I have done! Better than nothing! I can practice my editing skills and was going to try a voiceover this time!😬😬 I’m not the most technologically smart person, so this is a learning curve for me! 🤣 Hope your weekend is going well, too! 💞💞

@@simplystylishdiy weeeelllll right now all this stuff is overwhelming me!🤣🤣 I have been trying to organize the past few days (I just finished organizing a while back mind you🥴) and am becoming overwhelmed! What should I put together and where is my problem! I’m pretty OCD so I keep running through ways to organize in my mind and what to put where and does this go with that or this over here…I’m a hot mess!!🥴😝🤣 I live in a two bedroom apartment and am using the second bedroom as my craft room, it has a fairly decent size closet, but it’s progressed to my outside patio closet AND the guest bathroom closet!🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 If you have any ideas, throw em my way please! I have everything from glass stuff, wood, tons of Dollar Tree stuff, trays, baskets, material/fabric, tons of ribbon, my cricut stuff, paints, bizillion cans of spray paint, and then just a bunch of random things! It’s baaaaad! I’m trying to purge as I go, but it’s not going so well because I’m convinced I CAN and WILL do something with it, and am afraid as soon as I donate it, I will need it! Hot mess express out of here! 🤣 Hope you’re having a great weekend!
