I tested this in John Lewis and it blew me away. Normally takes me a while to make a decision on a scent as i have issues with silage and longevity with most. This however , lasted all day and the dry-down was absolutely beautiful. Couldn't stop sniffing my arm all day. Perfect for autumn . Definitely full bottle worthy but very expensive, reminds me a lot of tobacco vanille in the dry-down. I love it. Thanks for posting your review, very thorough and interesting. xx

How about being thankful for the early sample? Unlike others I don’t bash fragrances because I don’t find reason to every fragrance has a positive in them and just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean the next guy doesn’t or SHOULDN’T. This ain’t mob mentality which is a sickness of frag comm at least not in this channel.
