This takes me back to my childhood and how I first discovered asmr …..I used to intentionally crinkle up the pages of old catalogues to enjoy the sound of the pages as I smoothened them out and turned the now heavier pages❤

Tanya, I discovered that when I give myself the asmr experience, it's called "stimming". Self soothing or self stimulation, if you will. If I twirl my hair or play with spinning toys or crinkle pages etc...self soothing by touch & sound.

Exactly! I think self stimming probably brings a different sort of response than what's typical when it's coming from someone else. It's more like a relaxing and satisfying thing rather than tingly, or that sort of thing.

Great sounds! I love how you always make your surroundings pretty and interesting to look at. Your bracelet is also so sparkly and beautiful. I realized I loved crinkly paper when I was a little kid and Mr. Rogers would make paper hats or crafts out of paper. Who knew ASMR would become a big thing some day?

That was so sweet, Nadine. Always I try to make the background nice to look at. In this video, I kept noticing how bad the lighting was for the skin on my hands. I never felt so old in my life! 😂😂 Isn't it interesting that it has taken all this time for somebody to realize that sound was a legitimate aspect of enjoying our senses? Music was about all people really thought about. But there are so many wonderful sounds in this world that can please us that are especially sensitive to sound.

When I was super young, I did a bible like this. I wanted to amplify the sounds of precious pages turning. I did half of the Bible, which took a long time. lol I got in huge trouble when my mom discovered my unfinished work. I was so embarrassed and regretful over the book I chose lol.

Rebecca! Guess what?? I was studying and i accidentally spilled some water on my notebook. I unintentionally made a crinkle page 😂 its not as crinkly as yours but its still very crisp and crackly. It sounds so good 😂😂 I was kind of sad ar firstt because some of my notes were ruined but its ok at least its crinkly I actually put it in front of the fan to dry and its dry now. Funny thing i clipped it onto my moms clothes hanger rack thing idk what thate called but its a small clothes hanger rack thing that after you wash your clothes you clip them on there to dry indoors. The notebook looked funny dangling on there 😂

thank you so much for this! your videos are super amazing, i can always count on you to make me tingle :) i was wondering if maybe (you don't have to) but could you maybe do a video of whispered affirmations? but not the normal ones, ones that you might say to someone who just got in a really bad fight with someone , things like "it'll work out" or "they'll come around" yk? things to take the guilt away, maybe even to help with sleep it's a video idea i've been looking around for, but no one has done that yet, and i think a lot of ppl would like to have that kind of video. especially bc fights/ arguements make us feel really bad, and sometimes leaves the person really mad, to the point where they don't wish to speak with us, yk? i think it'd be nice to finally have something especially for that
