Happy little paper crinkles! They have the power to mesmerize or hypnotize, encouraging everyone listening to relax and just have a good time.
I wanted to dedicate over an hour of page turning to celebrating the joyful simplicity of these crinkle sounds. How? By gently turning the water-damaged pages of seven magazines, some dedicated to fashion, others to sports or economics.
Hopefully you'll get a kick out of listening to this concert or crinkle sounds.

Ich liebe besonders die Geräusche die entstehen, wenn nach dem Umblättern die linke Seite mit der Hand von oben nach unten / und umgekehrt mittig mit leichtem Druck glattgestrichen wird. Thank you so much for this. ❤ I have an extreme anxiety and panic disorder, which can cause terrible insomnia. The sound of crinkly pages turning is THE exact sound that works to calm my anxiety so that I can fall soundly asleep. It works better than any of the other coping mechanisms my therapist has given me. All those methods require me to think, and the problem is that I'm already thinking too much...my brain is going a mile a second. I need something that will slow my brain down, something I don't have to think about, something that will just be calming and soothing and allow my brain time to relax and let go of the million thoughts running through it. This video is perfect, and I'll definitely be saving it and using it in the future. Thank you, again. ❤

Hey, Rika! 👋🤗 Ik doe het gewoon met de plantenspuit. Drie keer spuiten per bladzijde en dan openleggen en laten drogen aan de buitenlucht. Omdat er hier veel kalk zit in 't water, staan de pagina's na opdrogen bijna stijf. 😮😀 Als ik wat azijn bij 't water doe, dan zijn de pagina's toch een stuk zachter nadien. Hoe doe jij het?

I would love to know your secret for water damaging these magazines in such a way that they still seem in decemt condition (ink isnt running, pages separated, not moldy)

Hey, Linina 👋. Thank you for your question. I use a plant spray bottle to mist every page at the front and back. Since we have hard water, I add some vinegar to the water to make the result less stiff. When that's done, I place the magazine open on a radiator, making sure to turn the pages every couple of hours until everything's dry. Hopefully that answers your question.
