Hi everyone! Let me know what you think about FredoSpline in the comments down below! :)

Thanks, Justin. I'm in here because you used 'Tools on Paths', lines on surface to start a road on a terrain. I needed to be sure which Fredo6 tool was because there are many of them.

How do you close these loops to make a surface? I have a sinuous landscape path and cannot get it to close!

Making curvy designs always seemed a little intimidating to me but this extension seems really easy to use! Thanks for the video

What is difference between this and Fredo BezierSpline and which (both?) should I be investing my efforts in? Will the splines/curves created be usable with curviloft?

I've downloaded Plugin as you and Fredo6 showed, I'm a custom woodworker designing a table with turned columns, I needed to create custom curves in column, I drew all in 2D (At least Parallel Projection front view)Beginning with rectangle of Height and half width of column locked on Green (Left Arrow) in the process if I look at right view I would expect to see nothing but 1 line but yet it appears to be skewed, though when I set Styles/Edges/Color/By Axis they all appear to be in line with axis, now to the point, I select Besier Classic lock axis and draw points but yet it still throws curve off and I get no surface to use follow me tool, Thanks for the recommendation of Fredo Spline and your time Justin

And is a generated curve works well with the standard Follow Me tool?

I downloaded this but I couldn’t find it in my options and tools

Could you generate surfaces by using those curves?
@Thesketchupessentials4 жыл бұрын
With another extension like curviloft, sure

Hello there, i was wondering what it means when you come back to a past file that you wanted to keep working on and there's literally nothing there, just all white background please?
@Thesketchupessentials4 жыл бұрын
No clue - could be a lot of things - first off, is the file size 0 kb? Because it might just be empty...

Does installing more extensions and plug-ins slow down sketchup?
@Thesketchupessentials4 жыл бұрын
Having more extensions enabled makes SketchUp take longer to load. I disable the extensions I'm not using for faster loading

That's awesome but is it possible to draw curves and straight lines in the same drawing? Imagine a glass for example that has straight lines and curves...

What is the difference between FredoSpline for which you have to pay € 22 and Fredo6 BezierSpline which is free?
@Thesketchupessentials3 жыл бұрын
One lets you support Fredo6 for all the work he's done for SketchUp? I haven't done a line by line comparison

I have been using Sketchup for 6years and most annoying thing, I have experienced, is some plugins wouldn't compatible with older versions of Sketchup as 2015 or 16.🤓

Guess not - Fredo has done enough for SketchUp that I'm surely not mad that he finally wants to make a little money on his extensions here and there.
