I always love getting snacks at daiso. I know the packages are smaller then those in the supermarket but it is easier to get more variety that way. Have a great time in Okinawa!

Nice assortment of snacks, I love mochi. I also have sakura flavored mochi from our Asian grocery store. We are going back to Japan at the end of the year so I'll enjoy some daiso snacks, and I lobe the Japanese bread.❤

There is an all-you-can-eat candy place in Tokyo called Dagashi Bar. It has classic Japanese candies like the mochi square candies. Nice to see snacks. In moderation!

It may be whether the truffles you had were true truffles, or a "truffle product." There is considerable difference. It sounds like you had the "truffle-flavored product" for this treat. Glad you could finish the taste tour on a positive note. Happy times in Okinawa!
