My idea for a fan sequel would be a similar title called "Ultra Despair Bros", starring Taiga Owari (Akane's little brother) and Fuyuhiko, as they battle a new enemy side by side, but with more platforming due to Taiga being the brother of the Ultimate Gymnast. Togther, they both fight to liberate another city taken over by monokumas, led by a mysterious boy named "Zett." During their journey, they end up discovering that Zett has something to do with the true reason for Junko's descent into madness, as "Zett" is really a shortened version of, "Zetsubo," the Japanese word for despair. His true identity is "Zetsubo-no-Kami", the last surviving shinto god, who wanted to get revenge on humanity for killing the rest of his kind, and did so by possessing Junko's body the entire time.

Sounds neato, but the god of pain and suffering is named Okuninushi. Also, it would be better if Junko had no direct ties to him- he just shaped her in his ideals. And his goal wouldn't be revenge, it would be to shake humanity out of its rut- basically he believes the world is too peaceful, and as such, stagnant. So he shapes Junko to cause as much pain as possible, so that exemplary individuals come into being and progress happens.
