My husband lays paver for a living. He said he would try xylene, but since it’s down in the pores you’ll probably never get it all off. You could pull and replace those specific pavers.

Perhaps silly/simple question 😂 BUT…did you just print your children’s routines/flows on card stock? Do you laminate or put in page protector? Last year was my first year homeschooling our 4 kids. I found you about 1 year ago and have been watching your older videos too. Just amazing to see your family through the years and your children’s growth. I listened to Vance's book while gardening, doing dishes and mopping for a couple days. I really liked it. It gave a perspective of who he is and how he can relate so much to the ordinary person in a way a career politician can't! We are starting school on the 19th. I was wondering if you have a good recommendation on how I can incorporate this into my homeschool curriculum for ages 10 and under? To get that glue off try boiling water with acetone and paint stripper

Could you use Acetone to remove the glue? You can usually buy a HUGE jug of it at a hardware store, a nail polish bottle would not be enough.. I would soak the glue side in it and then scrub/wash it off. I think it will work!

Do you have a certain day that you do your grocery shopping? We’re doing school Mon-Friday with Friday being a lighter day somewhat, but I am so worn out afterwards that I don’t feel like grocery shopping! I don’t want to do it on my only “off” day either, which is Saturday. Sunday we have two services. Since we started school a few weeks ago, I’ve been struggling with grabbing groceries & doing school the same day😮‍💨 I’m thinking maybe just get groceries first thing & school at 12:00 on Fridays… or that’s what I’m gonna try!! 🤞🏻

By any chance do you know the type of glue they used on the bricks? I'm guessing it's landscape adhesive (solvent or latex??) If not, acetone may work but I believe Muriatic is a better option just have to be very careful in handling it. Warm water and Goo gone is another way to go. Be careful on trying to scrap it off because the brick can get damaged. Another way to go is using vaseline and heat, may need to soak and gently scrape off. I would wear gloves though because the adhesive, although dry now, can still get on your hands. And the Stanley is totally worth it! Hope all is well. Can't wait for updates on the new pet addition.

I was praying over choosing GCU or TMU for my son's dual enrollment... Master's looks so good! We went with GCU because he wants to go into nursing and GCU's program looks great. Can't wait to hear how Master's is.

I'm curious about your thoughts on Ender's Game. I read through it last year as my oldest (13) was assigned it though the Homeschool Hybrid he's in. I ended up having him read something else, because of some concerns I had. It has some really good topics for discussion (the teacher who assigned it, who I loved, was focusing on government overreach and leadership styles), but it's also pretty disturbing. How old is your son who is reading it? I think it would be good for mine to read it at some point, just maybe not at 13!

I do not have an idea on how to get the glue off of the pavers; but did the glue go all the way through to the other side? Can you try and just flip the pavors that are ruined and see if the other side is still useable instead of having to replace them all? 😊

2 capsules is actually a daily dose of Seed. You are supposed to start out at one and work up to 2 pretty quickly.

Just an FYI: my 8th grader started the Republic of Pirates book, and there's no outright bad language. But there are portions that deal with the r@ping and stealing of women. He got about 2 chapters in and then decided to not finish it.

@@GraceandGrit I would say lean into the Lord for strength. He has been there when my mind would be sad thinking of changes but then He would give me new thoughts or see the blessings all around me to be thankful for in the changes. Just take one day at a time, I know that sounds cliche but it is what gets you through. And embrace it all, the changes, the sadness, the laughter, all the love and blessings the Lord gives us. I would say be encouraging, I think I might have weighed my kids down with my feelings but I needed to think more about what they were feeling, more excitement than me haha
