About what you said about Decidueye vs Trevenant, I'd say both have their merits. Trevenant is probably better as a safe switch, since it has much better ghost type damage compared to Decidueye so it can fight back against Skarmory way better. However, Decidueye has a better time against stuff like a Poliwrath since its grass type coverage is miles stronger than Trevenant. From some battles I've done, Decidueye even struggles up against Virizion in some situations, despite it resisting all its moves, while vs Trevenant, Virizion has absolutely nowhere to go. Maybe Astonish has some play on Decidueye, but it's overall way weaker than Shadow Claw, so if you want that I'd say Trevenant would be a better option. At least Frenzy Plant still hits like a truck (in fact it does more DPE than Spirit Shackle when resisted vs when SS is neutral, but doesn't have a debuff chance), so at least Decidueye always beats Trevenant in the grass type competition.

Important: spirit shackle is currently not in the game anymore, it was accid. removed. So dont waste your TMs trying to get it, it will not work currently. Niantic is aware and will fix this. So check with an elite TM first, if it's re-added to the pool or not, before trying to get it :)

Imo even if they don't give xeci shadoe claw isn't issue cuz leafage is pretty not bad move but imo they need to buff spirit shackle like buff damage to 60-65 and defence drop chance

Decidueye is very glassy. Maybe in near future if Niantic decides to give us more access to other moves it can become better. I tried that team didn’t had much fun like you, but hard countering Swampert, Rocara, Wiscash and so on was cool even though it always gave me a feeling that it could die by any charge move. The thing is just because it’s glassy doesn’t mean it’s useless for example Greninja is an unreal threat with water shuriken. It’s just that Decidueye needs a buff.

Brave bird def the way to go for decidueye IMO. spirit shackle better in two shield scenarios but that’s it. as a closer the nuke is far preferable.

I love the inconsistencies and glitches in the game. Even though you probably wouldn’t have won it’s ridiculous that we are still dealing with bugs like this after 7 years. I would love to see a pvp overhaul or a general glitches fix for the game. Great battles.

@@justaguy1738 yeah, seems the mistake is on poGo Gamepress where they state 3.33 on. both DPT and EPT for Magical Leaf... and only 2.0 and 2.33 for Leafage.

use pvpoke for the move stats, gamepress doesn't have correct info. Leafage has higher EPT (energy per turn)
