I've heard great things about the speed queen washers! I'm definitely not saying all toploaders are bad but the ones with no agitators and a lot of digital displays fail a lot like the one I have.

Woooo......! Laundry room makeover. Can't wait! 😊 Malcolm looking adorable in his big boy haircut and he was so excited that you wanted to play in the toy box at the foot of the bed. Mom mastery skill sneaking out the donated toys. 😁 His mural looks as good as new and thank you for showing us how you did it. You had me laughing over the puzzles. I've been in that situation and doubted my skill level, only to realize I had pieces for a missing puzzle board and a puzzle board with no pieces. 😊 Good luck with the washer. I have a top loader that is almost 30 yrs old. Recently had to replace a knob.

They do not make them like they used to! My parents top loader is 20 years old and still kicking! Mine is 4 years old and needed new balance rod things. My previous front loaders were from 2009 and we left them with the old house and they were a workhorse!

Yes agree with liking front loading machines better here in the UK front loaders are more popular I don’t know anyone with a top loader, times much change tho because 50 years ago when I was a child we had a top loader, Have a lovely weekend 💖

The last washer we bought was in 2014. It only lasted 5 years. The agitator cracked. Since 2019, we been going to the local coin laundry.

The stabilizing bars went out last year, had them replaced and now need replaced again ! I know what you mean about babysitting your washing machine! Frustrating! Have a great weekend ❤❤

I have a front loader with a cleaning cycle. I never leave the door open and I have zero issues with mold and smells.

Hi Jesse! I know you don’t need me to tell you anything lol but just from one mama to another to save yourself some time you should have two or three spare sheets sets for your bed for all beds in your house. This way you don’t have to do laundry to have clean sheets just rotate them. Also, that keeps down wear and tear. And I’m with you about the front loader washing machine we have one and I’ve never ever had an issue with mold ever. We keep the door open and the drawer for the soap open. Occasionally we might get something in there because I forgot to leave the drawer open, but all I do is pop it out and give it a good cleaning which it needs anyway once a month. Love your videos!😊❤

I realize that so many Moms don’t do the kids laundry after they reach a certain age, but I always did all of the laundry including folding and putting each child’s laundry on their bed except for my youngest and I put his things away. My thought was that I conserved water by doing everyone’s laundry, but in hindsight since I did the laundry kids probably changed clothing several times a day not caring because they weren’t doing the laundry, so no problem if something was worn for 30 seconds. And ironically my grandkids all do their own laundry! Now that I’m as old as dirt, I wish someone would come and do my laundry! 😂😂😂

We just started making them do their laundry as my oldest is probably going to be moving out in a year or two and he needs to learn how to adult a little bit before leaving the nest. My daughter is the one that changes clothes 5x a day and wanted to do her own so I said why not?

My kids started doing their laundry their freshman year. They also started cooking for themselves more as I worked 10 hour days and so did my husband. They didn’t cook everyday or every meal but it was nice to know they could fin for themselves!!

I saw you using your Dyson and just wanted to mention that I saw they have adapters on Amazon that allow you to use a Dewalt battery. The reviews said a charge last a lot longer and you can swap them out. I thought it was pretty neat so I thought you might too!

Normally I agree with everything you say about cleaning but I have to be the bummer comment on front loaders. I loathe, yes loathe front loaders. The spit and toss method in a front loader, imo, does not clean the clothes. It might be that I am as old as dirt but I would give anything to have my original top load washer with the tall agitator inside. They lasted forever and very rarely did I ever have to pre scrub/soak for stains. I find my clothes now just do not get as clean as that agitator and full tub of water would. These computer machines with built in energy saving aren’t worth crap, again my opinion. Just about all appliances made now do not last. One has to wonder, is this on purpose so that we are forever having to buy new appliances!? Now don’t get me started on mattresses that can’t be flipped over, lol. Anyway, thanks Jessie for your great vids!

We are definitely in a consumer turnover cycle. Phones, electronics, appliances, and cars etc. Everything does not last like it used to. More expensive and breaks easier. It's a shame!
