I love how the interview questions always indirectly reference real world things about Undertale without fully breaking the fourth wall. Papyrus seems to do it unintentionally, while Sans seems to be doing it as a direct nod that he’s aware of the player and what they’re referring to. And then ultimately no useful information comes from the interview

BUT Deltarune takes it a step further and makes the clear separation between the yellow flower and the golden flower, in Asgore's flower shop, which is where the flower sprites in the newsletter are from. Flowey is specifically the Golden flower since he's made of Determination.

When you come from just writing about how content should be done and halfway through being cleaned up by the next LETTER, it only makes sense to make sure to follow it up with what is essentially saying "there is still plenty of work left to do though". Maybe if anything, convincing himself of this. But who knows? Everything he said before that implies they not only got a lot done since last update, but they are cruising into the finish line right now.

I still think there's a chance it can come before the end of this year,yes toby said that the release was still far however far can mean anywhere from a few months to a year or beyond and I'm genuinely having a hard time seeing it release any later than a whole year.Also Toby's attitude in this newsletter is weirdly positive,even when he said it was far he also said development was still going very well and he team seems to continue expanding. So I believe it will come out either later this year or very early next year,we just keep waiting...
