That aside, Sans is an exception for most things monster related anyway. and THAT aside, the blood he got on your hands by killing him would assumedly turn to dust once he falls to ashes. You know I never really thought about it but it's crazy how undertale is so praised for it's "morality system" leading to different routes, but really it's only 1 extra fight in pacifist with a bit of lore, and 2 fights in genocide and some dialogue changes. The morality system is still cool, but it's only a tiny part of why this game is so good.
