"If the optimal way of playing is boring, the game is no longer fun" god do I agree with this. It's something to think about in game design, as a player if you have the choice to be optimal, there's good chance you'll throw away your fun just so you can win, but then the game is boring, removing that option, weirdly helps the player to have fun for their own good.

Exactly. And if the optimal way to play is the most fun, players will feel more rewarded for getting better at the game.

Love the game. Really refreshing experience though I do feel at the beginning it is a little bit complex. It took me a little bit of time to get used to the controls and even then I accidentally discovered some stuff - e.g. rolling, opening the blue portal(?) (but still couldn't figure out how to use it). I managed to find the guy that wanted a vial in exchange for climbing gear but then I had no idea how to use the climbing gear :D.

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that there are lots of things that could be shown or explained better. I've been having too much fun building new things- at some point I need to take some time to tutorialize some of those gameplay elements you mentioned.

I don’t know if you even want to do this (i know it would be hard) buuut i (and a lot of other people) would very much appreciate if you made it for the mobile (sorry, my english is pretty basic)

I'd love to eventually bring it to mobile! For now I'm focusing on PC, but once that's done, I can start looking into other platforms.
