Yeah, I’m wondering why they put the closet space for the washer and dryer in the bedroom when they could’ve simply put it in the bathroom it would’ve been much more useful and still could be used as closet space but being so close to the bed, it would always be a pain getting in there

This is a very nicely laid out RV and it's attractive. Yes, if you don't want guests walking through your bedroom to get to your bathroom it's not for you, but then again, you have an excuse for not having overnight guests!

I'm a KZ and Jayco girl from way back. There's not too much to dislike about this unit. As inexpensive as it is, I'd toss a couple of solar panels up top and make use of that empty roof! The limited seating for guests is a little bit of a problem, and I really dislike the countertops. And @mylesrv you know is what I think of Furrion appliances. On the plus side, I like the flooring, the bedroom layout and the bath is fabulous. I like the neutral colors for putting personal touches in the RV. The space in the kitchen is crazy good for cooking a good meal.

Interesting you show the truck not hitched up. I saw a Tundra earlier this year with a trailer a bit shorter, and the squat was ridiculous (even with weight dist)…as someone who bought a 34’ trailer that has GVW of 7500lbs, towing with a Ram 1500 (similar suspension/payload to that Tundra) I can tell you it was a dangerous ride. We very quickly moved to a Ram 2500. To any viewers of this comment, don’t make that same mistake. Ram 1500 had plenty of power, it’s not about that - it’s the payload, and weight of the truck. No I wouldn’t even trust a light F150 that has the same GVWR but lower curb weight (for more payload). With batteries, hitch, and propane this trailer would be pushing or over 1000lb hitch. Not hard for these RV dealers to go and weigh them to prove the setup is safe - you got the Tundra right there! Hook it up and see!

I like your honesty about things. Not really thrilled with us model, but for the price not bad. Love the under mounted sinks. Not sure if I like those pulls on all doors & drawers. They look like they could be dangerous, but just might be the angle of the camera. U did a great job & honesty is definitely the best way to go.🥰 24:40

My wife and I have been full time in our keystone hideout 28rks. We love it but wish there was an extra slide for the bedroom. I think we will upgrade this year. Thankfully I got a screamin deal on the hideout and I think I'll get all of our money back through sale/trade which makes the upgrade pretty affordable.

Good value for the budget end of the market. Just wish they had put the washer and dryer connections in the bathroom walk in, to me that would have made more sense as very little room in front of the cupboard where it is currently located??

Very liveable, easy to take care of with the open floor plan, would rather have a queen bed, love the closet. A larger oven would be nice for full timers. Want a different shower head, but one.

The industry is going away from the gas oven to a microwave with a convection oven. Gas ovens are not great at baking.

Definitely passed the bathroom criteria I have. No floor vents near the toilet. In all I like the layout. Seems pretty roomy. Not a fan of the little shelves above the bed but those can be removed?

Sorry Myles, but no manual stabilisers are faster to deploy than just pushing the button on a modern auto-stabiliser system and moving on to your next setup task.

That’s just not true. I’ve used a drill to deploy manual stabilizers and it takes about 2-3 seconds per stabilizer. Electric stabilizers take around 10-20 seconds to fully deploy. Sometimes longer.

@mylesrv Hey Myles, it may take the stabizers themselves longer to deploy, but it only takes me the time to push the button. Then I'm on to my next task. No moving from one jack to another, no balancing between them. I could never go back to manual stabilizers after having an automatic system.

Those hitch weights are generally dry hitch weights that don't account for propane and batteries. Add another 80 lbs for dual 30 lb tanks, and another 60-75 lbs for a single SLA battery. That's before you put a single thing in that trailer. I suspect, loaded for camping, hitch weight would be around 1200 lbs. And if you are trailering full water tank, and/or gray and black tanks, closer to 1500 lbs. That's a HEAVY camper best suited for 3/4 ton trucks. Very few 1/2 ton's are going to have the payload, or really the overall weight, to control that trailer. There are a lot of aspects of this camper that don't make sense to me. Like that windshield that goes to a closet. Why even bother? One more thing to break going down the road when a rock nails it. And the closet as a whole. Cut it in half and make the shower bigger. Also, 35' long and lacks a sofa. I don't know. The layout has a lot of wasted space. MASSIVE kitchen, but a tiny little dual recliner. And this is definitely geared for couples camping, get rid of that dinette, put in a drop down table with two chairs that collapse. You don't need a dinette for 2 people.

I think it needs a bathtub in there the window in the closet is great because you can watch somebody was messing with your vehicle. Also he gives a lot of extra light in the closet. The kitchen is fantastic however it needs a drawer dishwasher. A versa lounge would work great in there or all recliners in the living room. I would buy that trailer. It's more like a home can live in year round😊

Floor plan is very nice...If you add a solar package and storage goes down the toilet...1300 lbs gets eaten up really fast.

What is your honest opinion on the wood framed build, compared to the aluminum framed travel trailers? Is there a significant difference? Do you think the resale value is better? The structural integrity?? No one ever discusses these topics?

The big difference is rot. All Travel trailers eventually leak. With Aluminum you never have to worry about your structural framing rotting out on you.

I am not a big fan of the TV are, does the TV come out on a swivel so if you are at the dining talble you can see the tv, if not you are restricted to the two chairs across from the TV itself.

All we ask is hook up that trailer to your truck and do a one tank of gas ⛽️ pull out and one tank of gas pull back... This is why! NO body is pulling a max tow with a half ton Max Max... If you take the trail that you are showing in this video and tow it just like I said it will be the most watched video to date for you.... I am so tired of all these video not maxing out the half ton with rv travel trailers... Please just do it.... thanks

Purchased a unit from McClain's in 2015. Absolutely the worst customer service experience of my life hands down. Not an exaggeration. I would never buy anything from McClain's again. I live in the Corinth area and if McClain's was on fire, I wouldn't piss on it to put the fire out. Do yourself a favor and stay away from McClain's.

I have a 2017 F150. 4x4, with rear air bags, 8 cylinder 5.0 liter. It says total cargo weight should not exceed 9,000 pounds. I have previously pulled a 28 ft toy hauler with my 1215 pound Harley TriGlide. With a passenger and cargo I was just under 10,000 pounds. I did extensive research before purchasing the toy hauler and would recommend the same for anyone considering an RV to pull with a 1/2 ton. All this said, my truck preformed very well.

It has no real function for this rig but who's gonna profit when it takes a rock and there's only one manufacturer of that glass and only one place that can officially repair it to maintain your structural warranty.

The first thing I thought of after- window in a closet? was what a great place to get away and read or do work on your laptop and you need to hide, especially as a mom BUT that was fleeting as I also figured that people who love to bring pets and treat them as children… they would love laying on that shelf and looking out the window. 🤷‍♀️

Another floorplan with poor camp side window coverage. I think that is one of the biggest flaws that shoppers overlook on RV's. A simple fix is to put a low entertainment cabinet with a popup TV in it. Jayco did this and it gives you a large camp side window.

They kill themselves with the joke of a CCC on these things, if you are wanting to do some serious traveling you need more then 1300 lbs of CCC. Put a good solar on it and there is 500 lbs right there, fill the water tank there is another 350~ lbs. That gives you 500lbs for everything else... Good design but come on.

This is a horrible layout, guest have to work thru the bedroom just to use the toilet, imagine they have to wake up at 3:00am to pee and use the bathroom. Also the electrical outlets on wall of kitchen sink are right next to the sink instead of next to the corner where they would be hidden if you put a coffee make on the counter top. The non existent TV cord holes you pointed out as well are just the icing on the cake that shows whoever designed this was not a bright thinker...
