New Design Mackerel Stripper - Hayle, Cornwall

Reg out fishing on Sea Spirit trying out a new mackerel stripper, developed by him and his brother Phil Easterbrook. In this example the hooks run along the gunnel of the boat rather than across the deck, making this version much safer.

If you caught the fish on hooks how do you get them off the hooks? When I catch fish it is sometimes hard to get the hooks out.

The undersized fish are for the children. They don't eat a big fish :-)

This is commercial not recreational or Leasiure fishing this is their job

He is catching mackerel the is no size limit on them, plus if he is only bringing up small ones he will probs move to a different spot as he will get less money for the smaller fish. It is ethical
