There were multiple people in the vehicle and multiple guns. It will take some time and forensics to determine who the shooter was for sure. Until then it is ‘suspected’ and ‘alleged’.

They know who shot the cop they stated that he ran on foot and was apprehended after trying to flee in the car unsuccessfully.

@ the names will come out yes but some crime scenes are easier to piece together in regards to will be charged with what crimes. Maybe this is more difficult to determine who is who and who should be charged with what initially. The names will come out. What is the immediate rush? Why not be a little patient to ensure it is the correct information.

@ ​​⁠ yes that was said in the video and likely they do know who is who in that vehicle but I’m thinking they want to make more certain what occurred, who was sitting where, who was in possession of what weapons recovered, gunshot residue will be checked, finger prints ran, tattoos even used for identification before they say definitively who was who. The information will be revealed and released.

Police Chief said one of the occupants was suppose to be wearing an ankle bracelet but doggone it he didn't play fair and cut the bracelet off. The Chief followed up as Brandon looked on saying, "We have to get these repeat offenders OFF THE STREET." In the meantime, claiming budget cuts, the Mayor defunded training at the police academy for the next two months while approving $80,000 of taxpayer's money to be used to refurbish his wife's office.

Sad 😢 In my opinion that I worry too share openly but feel someone has to say it. Police needs to mend the relationship between the public and them somehow. Allow the good police to police the bad ones. People are afraid of the cops. Police seem to be afraid of certain groups of people as well.
