Thanks Ayman!! I totally agree with you. I think it is our responsability as customers to identify this kind of "dangerous business policies" when they comes out. Not supporting them by not buying their new products is the only way to force them to change their policies. The way i see it is that they are trying to sell us tools but we´re actually renting it, since we´ll need to keep paying them in order to use it. I can´t imagine my father, 40 years ago, paying to the local tool seller a rent for a screw driver he bought from him . But this is pretty much the same.

People just figured out that you don’t need one of these boxes or cables, just use your normal Lightning cable and a Mac along with the MagicCFG program and make a VirtualUSB so the program reads the lightning cable as a serial dcsd cable

i already got the JC 32/64 Bit programer, the P7 programer and the P11 and these are more than enough for me and im not that lazy for any NAND or WIFI chip replacment and also i do not unlock iPads just because i don't like to work on stolen shit so this new tool is not for me and i will never buy it and i will only invest money on tools that will last forever.Thanks AYMAN for this video

jc do other programmers which is better in your opinion ? the chip off programmers? or the chip non removal? the latter being expensive and limited to each model I believe? the former being more versatile in that it can do different models? Mind if it was really possible and stable to program via lightening lead I'd be interested though even with my limited knowledge I can't see how it could be possible....

Error 4013 is mostly a hardware issue and it doesn't support iphone 5s

Hey ayman, I think the timing of the release is no couincidince but not aranged either because it is only shortly after the discovery of the checkm8 exploit that's one point. another point is that the checkm8 exploit supports from iPhone 4s til iPhone X but u mentioned that the dfu box supports from iPhone 5 til iPhone X but what's known about the exploit is it has a race condition so it's not guaranteed to do anything to anything so maybe those team's based on the exploit their tools so they completed the exploit somehow.

i don't think this is based on Checkm8 exploit because they are using apple engineering cables and the process is done on apple engineering mode thats just a guess i don't know much about checkm8

Gotta disagree with you on the last point about unfair playing field. If a store really wants to charge less for a repair, there's not much you can do to avoid it. I'd say customer service + knowledge will put you ahead of competition. I am not a micro soldering tech (yet, hopefully I can stop slacking and gain some confidence to learn it properly) but definitely JC and a lot of these companies seem to be scummy with the way they release their "upgrade able tools" that don't really have any up gradable functions to them like they advertised. It's getting to a point that they'll just release convenient tools for techs to use, techs will gobble it up because it's easy to use and convenient and these companies will drop the upgrade aspect to the tool and just release the next tool to cash in again. Again I am just a very small shop that barely even makes money to survive so I am not the most knowledgeable compared to a lot of other people but that's just my 2 cents from doing research on a lot of the JC tools and even qianli.

@@AymanTheRepairTech Oh trust me I agree with you 100%. Not a lot of people respect knowledge or quality which is the sad reality but I believe long term that is the way to succeed. For example I am basically FORCED to do iphone 6 repairs for $60 Canadian using screens from mobilesentrix that cost me $15. My competitor does them for $45 "cash no tax" and even $40. How can I compete with that? I can't. I lose customers but at the same time if I lower my standard to theirs when they are importing shit quality screens from china that literally look like poop, pay no import taxes, charge their customers "cash only taxes included" with no invoice or receipt. I completely respect you man you've put out some pretty good content and you seem like a very smart and respectable dude. I feel like the way going forward we just need to be focused on reputation, knowledge and quality of the repairs. I doubt people doing screen only repairs can survive long term with the way things are going which is why I'd like to learn microsoldering so I can either focus on my family (Dad is the owner, I am like 25.) business or figure something else out. This is in Canada too in Toronto. It's a joke man how far people have ruined prices and respect for people in the repair industry.

Hello Ayman i have one question. I have iphone 7 that is stuck recovery mode when i try to restore via 3utools it's stuck at 20% (it looks like NAND problem). I don't have jc p7 pro so i'm thinking if it's possible to replace NAND from icloud locked ip7 to this ip7 and copy all relevant data on nand via this jc b-box c3/4. I think it's "DFU" because you put the phone into DFU mode first to use it, right? I guess it uses the checkra1n exploit underneath and loads a Ramdisk with backup/write functionality.
