No, you are judging to fast. I LOVE V pets. And I would throw my money at them instantly if they actually produced something worth the while and that actually uses modern technology. I loved them too, when it was new and at the level that the technology was back then. Its a great concept that could produce awesome modern V pets. But it doesn't. As someone who grew up with pokemon and played their games when i was younger. I'm kind of gearing towards Digimon when I'm in my 20s now. As someone who likes visuel novels I started my first Digimon game two years ago called Digimon Survive I enjoyed that game. I went on to buy Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition when it was on special in steam for about 14.94 $ and I didn't regret it. I might even start watching Digimon seekers if it gets an adaption to anime. This will also be my first digivice I pre ordered it this morning. Can't wait to play as patamon.

I'm really surprised by the new Digivice Color! Using the SCSA concept of playing gifs and sound bites as cutscenes to actually enhance the Digivice gameplay is a brilliant idea in my opinion. Though part of me now wishes we can get a traditional Digimon V-pet with the camping and soccer minigames and stuff from this Digivice. Having more to do than just battle seems like a lot of fun.

My guess for the lack of Pendulum Color 2 news is that if Bandai put 3 new Pendulums up on Premium Bandai at the same time as the Digivice 25th Color Evolution then people would choose between one or the other, while if they spread the announcements and releases out then more fans have a chance to financially recover enough to purchase both.

Shoemon is a reference to the mice lived in a shoe by Rodney Peppe. The mice lived in an old shoe that let in too much water and was easy for the cats to get into, so they had to build it bigger and stronger. Its a mouse in a shoe, with a stitching needle (for repairs) I think shoeshoemon is a reference to Squirrel Nutkin, a mischievous and lazy squirrel in the childrens book by the same guy who wrote peter rabbit:)

This new Digivice 25th Color Evolution is going to open the path to a whole new line of Digivices and I don't know how I feel because I bought all those CSA and SCSA (except for the D-Scanners). This one is going make those (mostly) redundant. I'm just thinking, the vibrator in the device might be for evolution for Perfect level and beyond if they're trying to be anime accurate. My only gripe is that the tags and crest come only with the DX versions of Taichi and Yamato versions while I prefer the original color.

Part of the problem with overseas releases is that there's such a big lag between Japan releases and overseas releases, and no guarantee that a product will even make the jump. If they were more consistent and had a shorter release gap, I'm sure a lot of us would buy the overseas stock. I get the risks involved and why they don't do that as often, but really, this kind of halfway nonsense seems to shoot them in the foot more often than not.

i had the OG when i was a kid. broke so many of them. i would shake them as i had a major injury with my knee. docs said it was life changing as i tore every tendon n ligament n muscle around my knee. i was only ever shaking gently but i ended up going take it back to toys r us in the UK after like a week or 2. got to the point of replacing so many times that they had no more devices left as the season 2 device was released so they replaced it with the season 2 device for free. had that replaced twice too haha. man i hope this isnt crazy expensive as id love one for nostalgia

Uhh, Cendrillon is the alternate name used for Cinderella. If you need another example for it, look at Sumire Yoshizawa from the Persona series. Her Persona uses the same name.

Honestly surprised they took the best aspects of the csa and just made them extras in a digivice with modern sprites did wish they did redo a few of the sprites for agumon and gabumon tbh but overall awesome that they listened and mixed in everything we would want in a modern digivice hopefully they can take a few of the features in the next vpet like the cute interactions we have between digimon and vb styled sprites (hopefully redo the bad looking sprites) maybe even take some aspects from the tamagochi uni like the online interactions maybe online pvp on the device itself now and maybe even dims okay now I'm ranting on how cool this could be lol 😅 to wrap it up cool device love all of the additions hoping for them to take these features into the next vpet lol

I am a diehard Digimon fan, and yet, even i have to say that i would advise against investing any time into reading Seekers. It is melodramatic at its best moments, and it is incredibly anticlimatic at almost every plot point. I have read of people having entirely enjoyed it, but i think 1) there's recency bias, 2) scarcity bias, and 3) it takes a very imaginative person to get really self-engaged to fill in the blanks to feel any level of immersion. As a very tame example, almost none of the Digimon that aren't right in the forefront get named; you often have to use your imagination throughout all four Parts as they simply tell you that there's a myriad of some unnamed Machine- and Cyborg-type Digimon and are supposedly fighting very intensely, though it is not choreographed much. There are good parts, but it drags out over twice as long as it really has to. I would hate to poison you against something that you might actually come to like, and I'd end up being wrong about, but i feel strongly that i wouldn't put my friends through this. It is much better to just read a synopsis or even just a summary of it first. You won't be losing out on any amazingly crafted scenes. (People cope that the bad machine translations are to blame, but it really is just cliche writing all the way through.) And you won't face any spoilers that don't already fit into tropes so overused that they weren't telegraphed from the very opening Part. Compare all that to its runtime, and you'll determine just how much filler repeated info dumps and contrived dialogue that leads nowhere that this miniseries is full of. Yes, there is emotion and action and suspense, but it is not worth the slog. And it hurts me to say that of someone else's work, who probably just wanted to enrich this franchise we all enjoy.

As much as I tire of the pedometer game Digivices, I have to say... this is cool. Finally, an actual evolution and not just a slight iteration of what came before. That being said, while the new Digivice does seem to be doing a ton of things well, I hate the fact that evolutions are still unlocked based on the number of battles won. This has got to be my least favorite aspect of the Japanese pedometer game Digivices. Considering how much they touted this one as being faithful to the anime, I was hoping that they'd tie unlocking new evolutions to story progression instead, but it looks like that isn't the case. There are a couple of reasons I don't like this system. Firstly, it's way too easy to cheese and messes up the pacing. Why bother going through the adventure when I can just grind wins in the first level to unlock Ultimate/Mega and breeze through the rest of the game? Also, since progress is not shared, this means that you'll have to grind multiple characters if you want to unlock all their evolutions. Finally, there's much less incentive to progress through the game as there really aren't any direct rewards for beating levels and bosses. Interestingly enough, the Digimon PSP game did this perfectly, and even the US pedometer game Digivices (like the D-Power Digivice) tied new evolutions to level progression instead. Oh, well... Guess they wanted to stay true to their roots? (^.^')
