Nice one! Another card I’ve played in Toxic is the blue god with rebound. Rebounding all your instants that poison or proliferate.

This is good, very similar idea to the Azorious poison/control deck I posted in the comments awhile ago. I'm guessing you never saw it lol. I actually play the azorious deck right now and I'm sitting at D2 with it. really strong in this meta. Hoping to get mythic with it. Poison/Infect is one of my favorite archetypes and I cant wait for the next set cuz there's a card in there that's going to give the opponent 2 poison counters when ever you crack a clue. SPICY! Also, Arcane proxy such an underrated card.

Hey man, always trying to keep up with the comments but as channel grows, it's harder and harder :) But trying my best! Yeah, azorius got into tier 1 deck (as only non aggro one), so that's pretty epic (the mill version I believe). Also excited for next set, I think it might be really shifting the meta🔥🔥🔥 Helix is pretty much guaranteed to do it, which maybe will make poison better a bit? (as it ignores lifegain). And indeed, arcane proxy is actually a legit good card, but not easy to use it (especially as it is blue and reactive strategies are hard to use sometimes at sorcery speed). Still, this will be a card that we see on channel from time to time :)

@@SlothMtg Oh I know my friend your channel is growing. you are my #1 right now in front of cgb, keep up the good work bro! maybe you could run this deck if you deem it worthy. here is the list, I won't say this deck is perfect but from what we've gone against and in this current meta these cards work best, I don't find my self mulliganing a lot but I have gone down to 5 cards and still won. Gadwick duel is really good especially against big creatures and sunfall almost guarantees a scoop for aggro scums, proliferating your incubate token when opponent has no answer cuz they have go for the throat is almost epic, it chumps and it slumps! I really do love poison fynn the fangbearer was my first commander lol. But I am not by all means a blue player (Orzhov Sacrifice saying hello) its just been a rough meta these past few years and these blue cards from AWBO changed it for me. You could add get lost and fateful but I havent needed the physical 1 removal. Wandering emperor is one of my fav cards for obv reasons but ppl often play around it so I passed on her in this deck. I can keep going about the choices but this deck again is far from perfect but has worked so well for me. Thanks dinos and mono red! Enjoy and play at your own risk! P.S. I wish arcane proxy had flash only if you had an instant in your graveyard, but that would be too broken I guess XD. I smell Arcane Proxy being your new Shigeki and we both know how I love Shigeki! Love playing toxic strats! I agree with what you said at the end. My own experiences with this type of deck is that it feels amazing when you curve out and get the right draws but absolutely unwinnable when you get the wrong draws you need to finish them

Seems like you need to go with 4 Mirrex and go down one of the other lands like an island so that you can hopefully deal with your mana flood.

Gl with the grind man! Plat is usually either super easy, or just a pure struggle, dunno the difference 😂Once it took me even longer than diamond->Mythic, one bad streak takes you back so many hours of grinding

Didn't try that version, but I'm not the biggest fan of it - as we give targets to opponent's removal that way - and at same time lowering poison stacks we can apply on average by our cards. They definitely can work in some matchups, but I prefer pure spells style personally :) I know they are used as sideboard for bo3, after opponent sideboards out removal 😈

Well, it can definitely feel hopeless vs some decks - there's basically no counterplay, just a death-timer that starts at turn 2. Extremely matchup-reliant deck

Instead of 2 copies of Gadwick, I've been using two copies of Ojer the blue god instead for some very good rebound value. Helps ramp to 7 for Arcane Proxy really well too!

Yeah, nah sorry. Until WOTC create a bunch of poison counter removal cards, (and I mean over 100) this archetype should be banned across all formats.

To be honest, this is too weak even for platinum ladder, so I don't think it makes any sense to ban it. I'll agree though, that mechanic can be frustrating to play vs, especially if you get matched with passive archetype, that kinda dies to it automatically (especially smth like mono white control, that relies on defending). I would ban kumano first though😈🦥
