I've had my eye on the Glitz palette for awhile. It's been on my "wish list" for the next Sephora sale. But now I'm looking at the Rose Gold one! What do you think? My skin tone is like NW33/NARS Aruba/Dior 3N. Stick with the Glitz?? I want that Peach!!!

Mmmmmm....I think some shades will work but definitely not the lightest shade of the rose gold. If that doesn’t bother you, go for it 😍

I’m in the exact same spot as you and I finally decided on the rose gold. I do prefer the glitz color story BUT if you look at pictures on Instagram you see that it has very chunky glitter particles and I’m not into that

Glad I watched this video, I had been lusting after the gold one but seeing this is making me content to just keep using my Glitz palette. I suspect with my skin tone, like you, half the palette would only work as eye shadow - and I have gold eyeshadow already. That peach in the Glitz palette is my favourite too. x

I love the Dior Backstage Rose Gold palette on you, Mel! I think it’s great that you can use the deeper pink shade as a blush! That one is my favorite as well. I have a cooler complexion, so I know that the Pure Gold palette wouldn’t work for my skin tone. I also saw the Copper Gold palette used as eyeshadow, and it’s beautiful! I also think the lighter shades could be used as or on top of a bronzer.

I ordered the rose gold and the copper gold. I have fair skin so I know the copper gold mostly will be too deep for me to use as a face product, but I thought the shades were just so gorgeous that the idea of using them as eyeshadows sold me on it. The pure gold is just way too yellow for my pink undertones. I’ve been wanting to pick up the glitz palette for a while and with the upcoming Sephora sale I think I will definitely do that. Hi Mel, I love the Rose Gold as well, and of course it looks best on you!! :) By chance,have you ever made a video on the Kevyn Aucoin products, specially the skin primer? I'd like to purchase it, but wanted to know your thoughts on it. It might have a little silicone-like feel to it, so I wanted to know.
