The original Parfum is one the best fragrances ever to be released. There really is nothing like it. To smell so good and not have an overlap scent profile with another fragrance house is amazing.

The best designer perfume was without a doubt the DIOR HOMME EDP created by Olivier Polge that I bought in France in 2009 before its reformulation (2011). Very few people have known this fantastic perfume. The best DIOR HOMME ever created.

Was able to get my hands on this a week early and reviewed it, I also immediately thought it smelt very similar to the Intense. A local Dior rep I know personally told me that she heard this WAS supposed to be called DHI… but Parfum had more value to the name. Explains a lot.

@ Europe isn’t the largest market. The Intense & Parfum have been off shelves in North America for a while. All of these fragrances are targeted to Americans. It would have been a relaunch in North America like this one was.

You realise he's just a piece of the puzzle, someone from dior is approving his creations and letting them be manufactured and marketed. If dior didn't think they were good enough they wouldn't be released. He isn't entirely to blame.

I foresee myself not being a fan of this because the amped-up iris as in DHI isn't my cup of tea. It's too much on the 💄 side for me. The leather and oud in the original DHP version masks it's superbly

When you'll realize that the old version it's amazing will be very late and will be imposible to get a bottle. It happened to me a few years ago I didn't liked it, but I tried it again and again and now I have 11 bottles, 2x 75ml and 9 x 100 ml😅. Hi, I have been watching your channel, especially for Roja Parfums Elysium 100ml and 50ml. I followed your rule: in the morning, I use Elysium pour homme, and in the evening, I switch to Elysium parfum. My question is that I bought Elysium Parfums in April, and the smell was awesome for the first 1 or 2 months; after that, it went bad. After 10 minutes, it smells like Elysium Intense. Before that, 2 sprays lasted for me easily for 6 to 8 hours; now, it only lasts for 2 hours with a bad smell. Let me mention that I bought it directly from Roja Parfums, and I have the invoice for everything.

Both are good but if you’re going to get one get the original Parfum because 1. You definitely won’t regret it & 2. If you decide to get it, the new Parfum will be available for the foreseeable future (I prefer the orginal tho for what it’s worth)

Have you tried liquides imaginaires Desert suave if not i recommend it.. its like a desert floral kinda spice fougere too me its very unique never smelled anything close to it and for the price and performance its not talked about by the community and id recommend getting your hands on it if it already isn't discontinued..

Id save my money and just get Givenchy they have great iris scent dna to dior homme intense vibes and valentino uomo better performance and cheaper then dior all day. But yes the original dior homme was like a more perfumy air iris that was very unisex smelled better on men but had a sillage too it that was incredible never offensive it was a masterpiece honestly someone needs to clone a 1:1 dupe of the original dior homme it will sell like hott cakes.. i never did get my hands on the original parfum because i hear they reformulated several times and not as potent so for that the money doesn't justify the scent for me but im glad everyone else loves it im sure its everything everyone claims it is.

i'm not interested any any of the Dior fragrances but fact is, if it sells more than the prior version, it's a win for the Dior. As you said "in the end it's gonna appeal to more people." I get the point of the fragrance enthusiast that the old Parfum was "better." But in the not fragrance enthusiast the better fragrance sells the most. I don't have a dog in the fight cause honestly, i've never like any Dior men's fragrances. But to a degree i think i understand that a business needs to cater to appealling to the larger market of non enthusiasts.
