There may be a hematoma on the top cheeck under His Sacred Eye. He had a broken nose. A face that was hit by an iron glove had to be swollen. That being said, I think the AI depiction is nonetheless rather the second closest to depict it. There is a picture that I believe is THE closest I have ever seen. Multiple radio carbon dating tests have shown the same results: This relic was made in the Middle Ages. 4. A simple method for creating an image like this using materials available during the Middle Ages has been demonstrated: All you need is a cloth, glass, paint, and sunlight. I get that the faithful reeeeeally want this thing to be authentic. But this is why science and emotion don't mix.

Be able to incorporate in his work details (that have only recently been discovered), that the human eye cannot see and that are visible only with the most advanced computer-scanning devices. 9. Be able to reproduce flawlessly, on a nearly flat linen surface, in a single color, undistorted 3-D characteristics of a human body in a 'negative format' on the tops of the threads, while conversely showing the 'blood' as positive and soaking all the way through. 10. Get somewhere the blood of a tortured man and apply it before creating the image. 11. Get limestone from Jerusalem, and pollen particles from the middle east, in special from plants with thorns, that flourish only between March and April.

The scriptures say Jesus was "wrapped" in the shroud (sindon) as was customary for the day. It wasn't laid on top of him flat out so that a perfect image could be burned into it. Who makes this stuff up???

When his body was ready for the Shroud it would have been wrapped around him. But he was only laying on top of it, with half of it folded over him, because they could not finish preparing the body for burial as Sabbath was fast approaching and they had to stop. Who out there is dumb enough to think that someone made this stuff up?

The image on the shroud of Turin is of a complete body laid out flat from head to toe - face facing straight out and full on - as if the shroud had been placed over him like a bed sheet. You just wrote: "wrapped around him". The image on the Turin now could have never been made that way. Thanks for supporting!
