Wow! Disney's Contemporary Resort looks great with the new Incredibles Theme to the rooms. The Incredibles must be the most Contemporary Themed Movie the people at Walt Disney World Resort could think of, so I think this theme makes sense for this room.

I wish they had done the Incredibles theme to some of the rooms and not all, like they did with the princess guest rooms at Port Orleans. I would have liked the new rooms if it weren’t for the Incredibles theming. It’s so in your face, and doesn’t work for those of us who aren’t big Incredibles fans.

I have mixed thoughts about Contemporary. For the price I'd probably pick a different resort.

We are staying here theme park view in March for my 2 toddlers first visit!! I love watching all of your room tours, thank you for the details! Would you say a pack and play could fit in the bathroom comfortably? It doesn't seem there would be much room in the room itself.

Wow! It’s so bright and clean. The details in the washroom and the design of the headboard are amazing. Too bad the fridge isn’t really cold enough. I wonder why they didn’t check that detail.

They are switching all mini fridges on property over to this new style with no freezer section and a glass door. We heard it was an energy efficiency thing, but we're not really sure why exactly the choice was made.

Seems like the storage is all gone?? I heavily used the desk area next to the beds before. Now I don’t know where to put all of my chargers and cords and souvenirs. Also, there used to be huge drawers in that unit next to the beds. The tiny drawers don’t seem sufficient for a family of 4 to unpack for a week.

I think Disney is trying to push guests to utilize the closets more and not dressers as much with the new design

Garden Wing is closer to the pool if that interests you. But the main food and monorail are in the main tower for easy access to those. Any of the rooms at The Contemporary will sleep 5 people, so it just depends on what you want your view to be or your location.

Less than half the rooms have tubs, but there are some that do, so you can request one with a tub if you need one 😊
