With CC#12 Basepoint, they actually did several versions - all of them were showing highlights from the various regions (CN, Global, JP, KR). Pretty cool and fitting end to the first series of Contingency Contract.❤

@@Trailblazer_Ririna yeah! those gameplay highlights of the game as it is counting down are actually the 1st high risk clear from each one of those contingency contracts, its such a very cool ode to the community throughout the entirety of CC. It ven hassome of the memorable strats from each of them being used and few of those being CC7 with Chalter cleaning out the center, CC4 with Bibeak stunning the golems as they are about to attack to cancel their attacks and delay them there, CC2 with the Weedy Liskarm combo to spam her S3 to keep all the enemies there, CC1 bindlocking Crownslayer, CC0 with the Ambusher duo of the time(Manticore and Ethan) delaying enemies in the fire tile and finally, CC12 being actually like a modernized version of the Iconic CC beta from when it was released. The Red Avenger(The enemy with the katana but elite) with all of its stats being so high was like an actual boss at that point that quite literally no one could block him for long before being one shotted by him, it was a really memorable moment in the community then. and with CC12 they made the red avenger an actual proper boss to represent it with a similar map structure to CC beta. It was all just such a blast. edit: its also why CC12 has a lot of katana imagery with red cloth, because its all a reference to the red avenger. edit edit: the astesia skin that coems with it i believe is beta astesia who was supposed to be a caster, which then would later become Astgenne, her sister. though i may be wrong on this one on some parts, all i know is that the skin is definetly from like a scrapped design or beta.

Sciel has a comparison video for the CN/JP/KR/EN versions for the Operation Basepoint trailer, also labeling which risk/difficulty level and niche is being showcased by each server. Essentially, the CN trailer showed each of the maximum difficulty clears from every CC event (with the exception of CC#9 because none of the servers could clear max difficulty except for the TW server). The JP server tended to showcase efficient clears with as few operators as possible, while the KR server tended toward speedruns. Meanwhile the EN server leaned toward niche clears using certain operators with self-imposed restrictions, like Specialists Only, or Males Only, etc.

Global's kinda wishy-washy localization of Darknights Memoir makes it harder to notice, but in the other servers it has always been clear that Ines was alive and with Hoederer in Victoria the whole time, just like you figured out at the end. If you go back and reread it, you'll probably notice how she has a signature line everytime Hoederer gives her an order, saying "don't tell me what to do". And the messenger who was with him says the exact same thing at the very end, making it all but clear that it was Ines, still alive and kicking.

for the monster hunter collab, noir corne and yato (both 2 stars) got a 5 star and 6 star alter respectively btw fun fact about the cc12 pvs! the countdown shows footage of each of the ccs, if i remember correctly its specifically footage of the highest risk people were able to achieve on the server (so the footage was different depending on the laungage the pv was for) Edit: OH THAT LAST TRAILER REMINDED ME God, i fucking love lonetrail. It is probably the best written event they had, definitely my favorite. I only wish i managed to roll muelsyse 😭

A little clarification about the tale of the Crimson Dragons. The two dragons symbolize the two Draco families of the founders of the country of Victoria. The Artorius family and the Dublinn family. The little girl is Victoria herself. The lions are the Aslan family, who took advantage of the turmoil (while both Draco families were fighting) to seize power in Victoria and naturally slaughtered all the Dracos...As a result, there were only two descendants of the Dublinn family and one direct descendant of the Artorius family. Loughshinny and Eblana Dublinn. But who the last heir to the Artorius family is, I won't tell you. 😋 If you've made it through chapter 8 -then you already know))

Tara in the story is a separate country, in fact the analog of Ireland, which was once founded by the Dublin family. So our Reed is a princess in a way =) Oh, and I imagine how surprised you'd be to find out who is a descendant of the Artorius family...

I would imagine the fairy tale represents the conflict between the Draco and the Aslan tribes of Londinium, London being great britian and welsh powers. Guessing war of the roses, the lions representing the Plantagenet and the dragons representing the Tudors. Lin is the Rat Kings daughter, she has sand/glass related originum arts

fun fact about CC#12 : the artist that design golden glow ship golden glow with the boss of CC#12, so for context the boss was a NPC in golden glow story (in the archive not side story) the name is red avenger, so the idea is some form of friend enemy relations

12:55 - The guy is Chong Yue. He is one of the Sui siblings (along with Ling, Nian, Dusk and now Shu). The lore is that there was a ancient god-like being that was sealed into 12 fragments. Each fragment is one of the sibling, and for at least a few of them (notably Ling and ChongYue), their CG trailer shows them fighting off what is believed to be the Sui fragment sealed inside them. So that big monster/dragon is his fragment. Edit: My bad, I confused things. Yan is the whole of China and Lungmen is like a major city within it.

EYOOOOOOO, the model is finally here, let's goooo! Looking real good, Rina! Must've been expensive to order! God damn, Vernal Winds was such an amazing event. It's about Lin (The rat girl in black and purple), and her power is not making crystals, it's making glass weapons out of sand! So in the desert, she's extremely OP xD anyway, also Jieyun, the girl she's fighting, big bro Chong Yue, who basically invented martial arts, Qiu Bai, his apprentice and Waai Fu! Fantastic event, 1 of my favorites! What the Firelight casts is indeed about Victoria, but more precisely our lovely Draco, Reed! And the purple Draco girl who looks a LOT like her, is not very friendly, as you saw in the PV xD But yeah, the later Episodes takes place a lot in Victoria! Looooots of fighting there, until we move on to somewhere else, but that'd be spoilers, so I won't mention that, lol And OH NO, just before it good! You're about to see the most lore heavy event in Arknights! But that'll be for next time. But yup, as you saw, it's about Rhine Lab! Definitely hyped for the next part now, Lone Trail is in my top 3 sidestories, for sure. It's exceptionally well made! Other game companies praised it as well, like Larian Studios, who made GOTY last year, Baldur's Gate 3!!! Heavy fucking praise, needless to say! Can't wait for next time!
