Doll droughts only exist if you limit yourself to the major brands like Mattel and MGA and the stuff you find at local department stores. There's a ton of dolls outside of that: artist dolls, collector dolls, dolls from other countries. There's always something new but you have to seek it out. I feel a similar way about LUV dolls, plus shelf space is tight. Do I really want to make room for a doll that's so-so when I could put that money towards a doll I really love?

My out of the box is same as Cloe...got new shelves, trying to display better. And, I change my Barbie & RH outfits to the seasons. So, everyone is taking off the long sleeve shirts & coats for short sleeve, shorts, mini skirts, etc.

I bought the new operetta along with the stupid mandatory $9 year long membership on an impulse. Operetta is my second fav ghoul. And I don’t see this as a doll drought I see this as a doll BREAK because lord knows my wallet needs it 😂

I just bought Cleo’s 2 Pack cause I love her, she’s one of my favorite Ghouls but she came with her lip not in the best way possible, it looks like she’s smooching a bit to the right side 🥹. And now I fear that my Operetta might come with a defect as well 🥹. I only save money for those two new releases. Great video! I love to listen to your comments about the dolls.

I've bought two Monchhichi dolls this year. One was close to $90. The idea of collecting more does appeal to me. I keep thinking, "What if I just had a lot of Monchhichi dolls? I mean, really a lot?" They're actually very well made (worth every penny).

I'm new to collecting MH & I'm almost turned off by the stress of the releases. Even the Amazon Creeproduction dolls. I couldn't find them to Pre-order. Then the times were mixed up & I missed them. Ghoulia finally showed up today at retail price, so I grabbed her. But it's the Cleo pack I really wanted. Kind of mad, that many that already had the originals got 3 of the new ones & I didn't get any. Never had originals.

I’m in a drought era too. Was not feeling Lenore or Operetta. I did get the last Off White doll and repro Ghoulia and a couple customs. I’m really bummed by the direction of RH… an end of an era

Nothing currently in playline is doing it for me. Maybe some of the moonbows RH girls will interest me as they seem to have human skintones, but we'll see. I personally don't care for anything Monster High since 2013 because after that everything looked very uninspiring with some exceptions. Other upcoming doll lines from other companies than mattel or mga seem boring. The LUV dolls faces look flat, plus their outfit designs look very bulky and busy. I'm only looking forward to more integrity releases even if they’re very expensive, they truly feel worth the price in your hands.

I a,so don’t like these LUV dolls very much. The clothes seem all over the place. Fashion royalty just has amazing face sculpts. They look so sophisticated imo. I just wish for more diversity in body shapes. I hope I can finally buy a homme soon.

Sending hate to the designers directly is not okay but “the best they could” was not a good design. Analyse did Ghoulia and Frankie (Amazon) for the same price as Operetta..

Rainbow high shoes are perfect to make the legs long n spiky like Dollys. The price range are perfect to experiment. They look phenomenal. Have a nice Doll Day..

Monster high g3 only looks like a drought at Walmarts. Idk what Walmarts deal is with refusing to carry some of the newer monster high but target has been popping off. Target loves monster high g3 so much that they keep managing to make new dolls and packs exclusive

The show doesn’t look like it’s being picked up for third season nor the movie doesn’t look like it’s being made so honestly we don’t know where we’ll be this time next year. Collector aren’t selling well cause Mattel just greedy so unless Mattel pulls a 180 makes plans to find a way to continue media for their dolls and starts charging prices that reflect the actual dolls it’s not looking too good.

I mean we need the kids to also buy the dolls cause us collectors are just a portion of sales, scalpers make up probably the majority though even they are not making much profit cause we don’t want to buy the dolls at the prices Mattel is selling them more less theirs. Hopefully though they turn things around over the next year.

I mean with how well the reproductions sold out and all the collector dolls being released means there is a drought ? So just because some people dont fancy a doll or the price its all of a sudden the dark ages for Monster High lol i dont agree with anything regarding that tpoic. Plenty of people are still buying up the collector dolls. I dont see collector monster high dolls going away anytime soon. At the end of the day people are expecting way to much and yet wanna pay close to nothing for it. Plus Skullectors are always gonna sell out. All i hear in this podcast is bias and people just cant admit they cant afford it so in that turn the next best thing is trash the doll because its pricey. At the end of the day Monster High fans are miserable and hate everything. Mattel honestly cant win. Plus unpopular opinion but Lenore and Operetta ate

I only collect monster high so I'm able to have the funds since it's the only brand I collect. Trust me, I know all about bills and priorities but it's not 2010 anymore and collector dolls aren't gonna cost $30 unfortunately. I didn't say nobody deserved anything and I obviously want people to have a chance on a doll they love. I'm just a realist and I know what to expect when it comes to Monster High.

Plus I remember thinking $30 was expensive back then still I don’t feel $70 to over $150 is what we should now expect. I feel they are sabotaging the line with these prices. I would have certainly gotten Lenore had she been half that price I can’t justify for a character I got no connection to. The off white we paid for that box nobody had room for dolls were cool but again half that price. Like I got Operetta today but all in all she was $70 with membership tax and shipping for a mid doll im not even excited for. If anything I’ve been more excited for g3 releases now creeproductions happened. Which again were $25 per doll and they much more amazing and nostalgic

I think doll brands are just not OD with the releases and that's good because money is tight for a lot of us rn, not to mention there's only so much space, a lot of us don't live in a mansion lol.
