When painting on an uneven surface, like a basket, using painters tape... paint a layer of mod podge first and let it dry, then paint your stripe, and you won’t have that bleed through because the mod podge will seal to the edge for you!

I thought about that too, but in past experiences, it leaves a gummy edge that is unlevel harder to correct.

Polly was the 1st DIY that I saw on KZbin. She inspired me and I started doing my own Crafts. My sister got one for her birthday today and she loved it. I love the tile pattern on the wall plaques. The basket with the painting is such attention to details. I love the look of the tiered wood stands and being able to arrange them many ways with different fillers. Love the look of the shelves for displaying decorative items. LOVE the pillows.
