Easiest way to mount a Dometic upright is put a strip of ply across the top so you don’t crush the foam at the top corners and ratchet strap it down using brackets on the tray floor and strap over the top of the fridge. Had friends use the screw holes in the sides to mount the fridge and they vibrated loose on corrugated roads up the Cape. I Ratchet strap mine down in the canopy on my 45 series and never had a problem with it moving around or vibrating loose. I cut the hooks off my straps and put them through stainless footman loops riveted to the canopy floor. Currently doing a refit on my canopy and filming it.

Love seeing the new products. You must be busting like most of us to get back out and away from isolation. Well, you know what in mean. Isolated in places we want to be rather than home. Can you do a video on what you like and what you'd change since the start of setting up ole boy. Example, hows the suspension and body roll since adding all the weight. Have to say, Ole Boy is becoming the envy of many of us!! When is the A/C getting fixed!!! 🙄🤣🤣 keep up the great vids.

My waeco cfx40 i got 1 month after i got my 200 series in 2017, hasnt turned off more or less since then, i also have had a 40 litre engel, i found the engel to be more power hungry.. 3.5/4 amps vs 2.5 for the waeco. My mate is an engel freak and bought a waeco.. loves it.. see you can go to the dark side people. My advice set the fridge voltage alarm to 10.5 volts, saves some panic moments. you'll work it out on your own i suppose.

53L fridge should be plenty for most trips away. Be interested in how upright fridge goes long term with offroad with shelving and vegetable box. Plus does everything fall out when open it after been driving offroad? Low voltage setting would want to set higher than 10.5volts with lithium as until load with fridge starting up it was around 13.0volts underload. You should have about 3days of battery life safely without starting engine or solar input. You will be impresses with how quickly battery recharges. What battery set up in camper? Is there a video on the camper? Enjoy your channel
@DanieSimpson4 жыл бұрын
@@mattwalker6305 its a 46L. Mate has had his for 5 years and no issues with shelving. As you can see the video all the shelves have lips on them and you wouldnt exactly be opening it if you were on a mad incline. I keep it on medium setting. Which is fine for the setup i run. My 95L drawing 9.8A with the car stationary for week and no solar input still only went down to 56% on the lithium. So will have alot more then 3 days.
