I remember talking to beechy about a bigger fridge and putting the drawers in the large drawer instead. Definitely a great idea! Awesome setup now with all the fruit! Love it! Great video showing everything

Luke you have Drifta Fans here in the States. Brilliant roof top solution with your design . We are camping in Moab Ut using our Autohome roof top ,you addressed all the problems it has. You are correct about the wind ,no problems with the clam shell design. Also we love the Partner Stove ,ours is 6 yrs old still works great.Thanks Luke

Hi Great work guys. I’m not really into the camper trailer thing but I would definitely be interested in one of those rooftop tent if you design them for a 4x4. I always try to buy Australian made where possible. Once again great work guys

Love everything you do Luke but not sure how safe the setup is. What about when you have wet shoes? Have you thought about incorporating a fold away staircase?

Luke this version looks fantastic, the new version of the walk up hardtop is what I'm interested in but I can't find it on the website. What is the price of the model you show in this latest video?
@driftacampingand4wd6116 жыл бұрын
Peter Hughes hi pete, on the web soon, be $5500 without the panels. not for vehicles tho. L

$5500 without the panels....how do i order?? The old model was $38500......typo i guess...$55000???
@DriftaCamping4WD6 жыл бұрын
$5500 is just the tent is you want it on its own. The trailer without the solar and redvision is $40K. Thanks Jake

Have you seen the Bundertop electric tent, roof raises vertically, push button....n
@DriftaCamping4WD5 жыл бұрын
gerard haubert yeah, have you seen the mechanism how it operates.. ropes going everywhere, nice tent, but very complicated to lift, and I’m not sure i like it.. also, have you seen the awning.. ?? The awning is a critical part of the rtt, I’ve climbed in and out of a alucab in the rain, thru the side window, with no awning and it’s a disaster.. the bundutec has like a 200 mm awning, totally useless.. they maybe got an add on one I’m not sure, but haven’t seen it.. but yeah, there’s a reason i made my awning so big, : ) L

maybe add some flap closures for the rtt roof storage pockets

"From $40K". They have got to be out off their minds! Tell him him he's dreamin ! The whole camper trailer industry is so over priced. How can you compare the price of a "box trailer camper" to a small caravan, at less cost. I can't, it's just not good value for money, and it's not just this mob, but the same with most of the rest. Most of the better value on or off road camper trailers on the market, should only be selling for around $15 - $16K, that's all their worth.
@Schimmel8605 жыл бұрын
You dont know much about camping trailers it seems. Do some research on the trailer component prices before you start talking about $... there is heaps of cheap china imports around but you can not compare them with Australian made trailers... that is probably what lets you think the trailer should be cheaper... :)
@DriftaCamping4WD5 жыл бұрын
Buy a Chinese trailer bro, but don’t ask me to give your kids a job . L

I'm late to the pile on for Bazza but here goes. It comes down to what your doing. Glamping, hanging out inside, parked up at the caravan park? Then yeah, you want a caravan but don't expect a $40k one to be in good shape within 2yrs. If you want to get away from civilisation and do "outside stuff" then a camper trailer will go further and last longer. You'll also get better build quality $ for $. I'm not dragging the Glampers, each to their own but this is for savages who want to get a little "primal".
