Ghil has four shoulders, four arms, and two pitches of voice at the same time. Andruil's statue is headless in I think Origins. Ghil clearly merged with Andruil.

From the first fight footage I was unsure I'd be able to handle the camera movement(motion sickness) & am mourning the tactical camera but this footage made me a lot more hopeful! Also I wonder if this is one of Taash's first missions with veilguard, 2 dragons? What an intro for them!

oh no. that reminds me of the Tranquil researcher who works for you in Skyhold. her job is to examine and cut up pieces of animals to learn about them for you but she says she just remembers liking animals before becoming Tranquil and can't remember why

@@highiqwarriorI think it’s less for age ratings and more for monetization reasons. KZbin likes to remove monetization on anything with too much blood and gore, sexual stuff, too much of the wrong kind of cussing, etc. from what I understand from other content creators. I’m pretty sure they have the gore options off in all promotional material on purpose to avoid breaching standards and not earning anything from their videos.

Doing another playthrough of DAO (waiting for The Veilguard to drop!) ... coming across the Elven statues after knowing so much more about Elgar'nan and Ghil is ... something. One of the statues seen throughout DAO is one that has multiple arms, tentacles at the bottom, and is emaciated looking. So ... exactly what Ghil looks like in The Veilguard. Also, in prior playthroughs, I had *no* idea how many Elgar'nan makeshift altars there are throughout DAO (mostly made by the darkspawn, but also found around in blood mage areas). It's just incredibly cool to see the through-lines now that we know more!

I love that we have the options to turn the onscreen UI on and off! I'm curious about how combat will play out toggling these options. Those dragons are so cool! I wonder if we'll find a blighted fleshy lab where she makes all her creatures. Anyways! I'm hyped to fight those dragons!

The dragon ghilly has seiged weisshaupt with is different than these two in size and appearance. Somehow she bypassed a high dragon's natural resistance to the blight (scary) and she has an archdemon and at minimum 2 blighted high dragons. I am so scared of this fucking woman but she attacked my wardens so she has to Go

Btw I have watch nearly 100 videos positive and negative so I am trying to be as informed coming into the game as possible, plus I have played the games to 100% multiple times and know the game lore in its entirety. 12:43 Yeah, I think the dragons existed previously and Ghil just blighted them. Corius is a Tevinter name, right? I wonder how many dragons exist at this point and how many we are going to fight... The Inquisitor did do a pretty good job to make them extinct again though.😅😆 So there are at least 10 dragons less for Ghil to blight.

SPOILERS: My thought since seeing the first real trailer is that the two really big dragons, the one attacking Weisshaupt and the one that the Dread Wolf was fighting are the last two archdemons. All the other dragons are just high-dragons that Ghilan'nain blighted so that she could control them... like what Corypheus did with his dragon. I think a lot of Corypheus's power are going to make a lot more sense after playing this game.

Yeah it'd explain solas saying the blight was not so simple as killing dragons if the seven gods/archedemons was a false legend. Like Ghil and Egan just constantly tapping into dragons trying to free themselves for a millennia and potentially forever....really makes the Warden bleak and explains Solas' opinion

Great Video! I thought an archdemon was a dragon combined with an old god? I think that's why they're referenced as just dragons. Gil seems to me to be acting as an archdemon (leading the blight) without being merged to a dragon? I think gil is designed and voiced perfectly too! If you look at the dragon on the right aswell at the end she's got tentacles around it which slowly descend off it, is she like petting it with the glowing red tentacles or did she heal it back to full health for round 2... 🤣 I do have to say i thought that the decision about what happened to the old gods soul in inquisition was gonna factor in somehow? But I think they said there were only 3 that made an impact on the game, think it was who you romanced, whether you were saying at the end to save or stop solas, and whether the inquisition disbanded or not. I'm fine with it I just genuinely thought it would've made an impact on the next game. Anybody else think that? Also compare the actual gameplay graphics of this to "the sacred ashes" cinematic trailer and the dragon age 2 cinematic trailer where hawke fights the arishok. I feel like those are the sort of graphics they were aiming for with this, im happy with it 😁 I think it's gonna be a good game in conclusion though! I have to say it's like the only game series story I'm this invested in 😂

I have to say, there’s no blood on anyone-even the guy lying dead next to your feet has none on him or the ground. Is he just taking a nap? The only time you see blood on the battlefield is when you’re fighting the darkspawn.

This is an M-rated game with sexual content, blood, bad language, etc. So when I see a game being toned down to a PG level, I will express my criticisms, or as everyone seems to call it now, my complaints.

They've said that blood and gore will be toggleable, like in past games. Also, they do turn off blood splatter effects for their vids so they can be shown on YT. I'm not saying you're not right, I'm just saying that we won't see those options on vids going up on YT because of their age restriction policies so keep that in mind.

I'm sorry to be so negative, but Bioware and Electronic Arts are basically just revealing giant parts of the game by spoiling it for us. It's a very strange marketing strategy by lifting the embargo for influencers, like yourself, and just spoiling what should be giant set pieces. It feels like, to me, that the first trailer didn't impress audiences so Bioware is just letting influencers upload giant parts of the game when it's not being released until more than a month from now. Maybe I'm wrong. I don't know.

I personally love spoilers, they get me super hyped for the game but I understand not everyone is the same. Everything they have showed us so far is only the first part of the game, we haven’t seen anything from mid to late game (except for maybe [redatcted] but that’s it) there is so much of this game you still haven’t seen and hasn’t been spoiled so I would just, kick back, not consume the content and wait til you can play the game in a month’s time and judge for yourself. But that’s just my opinion

Well, I dunno, as far as I am aware those 6 hours of preview that they got earlier in september was a smaller part of act 1, divided into 5 separate sections. Again that is just a part of one act of 3, and nobody showed 6 hours of uncut footage so what you end up having is just a part of a part of a part of the game
