I really love how Handong got so far with her dancing and singing skills since debut esp considering she trained much less than ot5 (she debuted like 2month after joining hfe) T_T Girls mentioned that she`s the one, who`s always in a practice room and never skips a day of training! SuA and Siyeon always stand out as exceptional talents to me. SuA can sing like a lead vocal and Siyeon can dance like a lead dance. The only other person that I can think of who's this level of rounded is Seulgi.

JiUs expressions are extremly good, it looks natural and plays a big role in her dancing skills. She is always so fun to watch. I totally agree with you here For me personally, Dami is above Siyeon and Yoohyeon. Its this weird feeling when watching her compared to others. For example, SuA and her have a natural and strong interest in choreographing itself and the dedication to dancing shows when she is moving. Dami is a very shy person and i feel like that maybe tends to hold her strong potential and skills back? Just a speculation from what i have seen. SuA is the absolute dancing machine, jeez. I completely agree with your ratings if we are simply ranking just based on dreamcatcher members. If we were to open it up to all other female idols I'd adjust the ratings to adhere to the high skill cap that female dancers from other groups bring to the table. To be clear though imo dreamcatcher is up there among the top in terms of average group dance skill and blows away most other groups. In that case though here would be my personal rankings (with some added micro-adjustments such as +s or -s): ~Gahyeon - B ~Handong - A- ~Siyeon - A ~Dami - A+ ~Yoohyeon - A+ ~JiU - A++ ~SuA - A++ . . also #stansiyeonspants

I`ve always felt that Siyeon has really clean and powerfull moves. I`ve heard that it takes her quite long to learn choreographies but when I see the final product she looks like my 2nd best after Sua in terms of dancing.

Totally agree with your JiU ranking - I wonder why no one ever mentions her dancing much cause i've always thought she was so good! Gahyeon, yeah - sometimes on earlier DC performances it looked like she was out of her depth, or maybe wasn't happy and it showed in her performance - but I must say (and yeah I know i'm like 6 months late seeing this video) her dancing has improved so much lately.

JiU was selected for the dance line in Mixnine for a reason. She is super good. I think in any other group she would be the main dancer. SuA is slightly above her but that's because Dreamcatcher is just a top tier gg. Part of JiU's talent is also her attitude and presence on stage. It's just captivating and makes her stand out even more. The Boombayah fancam to this day is still iconic to me. Her moves are so sharp and her energy is infectious.

@@Faeriiexx i think you shouldn't compare yoohyeon and dami cause their both good in their own way Like dami seems more natural while dancing and she is choreographing, but sometimes she is a bit shy what could sometimes look like she puts no power in her dancing . Yoohyeon on the other hand has sharper moves and does the choreo very exact and you can clearly see that she is hardworking, so she doesn't dance as naturally as dami. Both of them have good facial expressions and technique. I think that there both (and all other members) are extremely talented girls.

I think Dami is a bit better than Siyeon. Take 4:48 ~ 4:50 for an example. Look at the elbow-raising moves, Siyeon didn't do it really sharp and clean, but Dami did. And 4:55 Siyeon make her elbows closer and moves her arms along with her head and upper body, which makes her move looks a bit lacking of power; Dami just use her elbows to drive her arms (her head and upper body doesn't move obviously) so that she emphasized her moves on one point, and her moves look powerful by doing so.

I don't think even C is possible unless you keep making mistakes, but we know that doesn't happen in the K-pop industry, because you get scolded for it. And for the sake of not bringing the group down, that member will practise enough to make sure it doesn't happen again. B is literally the starting point, which already makes them good dancers by default.

I would have to agree with this. In all fairness, you can tell who are the naturally good dancers and who works hard to be a good dancer. Sua clearly has the most aptitude for dancing, Dami is about the same, maybe a touch lower. Yoohyeon is the kind that works hard on it, unlike Sua and Dami that are naturally better, and you can tell really. The members have said it before too that she is the stiff one, hence called a "tree" at one point. Not saying hard work is bad or discrediting her, but I think the rating should probably extend to dancing in general, not just their own choreography. If anything, it's because Yoohyeon puts in a lot of effort that her dancing stands out, because they look a lot more powerful, although this does sometimes look a little less natural in terms of flow, especially when compared to Sua, and it also mean she exhausts more energy. I'd also have to attribute that sometimes these minor flaws are only seen because of their choreography. The moves aren't especially difficult per se, but they're fast, so while that's hard to notice at first, it also makes it difficult for the members to keep up perfectly at times, and taking time to focus or slowing down the video will make them a little more noticeable. Switch in some slower choreographies some other groups have and I'm sure a lot of these flaws won't be present.

i won't consider myself as a fan (yet) for how less i know about them... i can't even tell who is who and always get confused at the top 3 in this video... the one that i can tell is only dami, coz well, kinda unusual name and face (the swag) is easy to remember. however i love their songs since goodnight and been following their songs since then... maybe bcoz i never watch any of their variety show (recommendation please). But what i know is that they have a sick dance with an equally sick live performance, i mean they dance perfectly in sync (for a very hard choreo if i must say) and most of the times i found them sing live. Also tbh idk who's the main dancer and who's the main vocal, 4 of them (minus dami, the one that on hiatus rn and the one that sing "gamyeon dwiye Trick gasoroun Freak" at scream) easily can be either main vocal or main dancer for how good they are. (i know i can just rewatch the video and type their name, i'm lazy like that, i know, i'm sorry).

II'l be honest, Jiu is my personal bias and i wish she joins another group after dreamcatcher contract expires whether the other members would renew it. She would easily be all rounder if she trains a bit more on rap but she is very talented. She would be perfect in groups such as Gfriend, I*zone, twice etc. No but i want her to perform an elegant, retro and kid crush concept that's not just a cover but a literal m/v for her and their group.

Jiu has so much charisma. Part of being a dancer is showing of, make them enjoy watching you dance. I think they have a similar skill level, but Jiu's expressions gave her a huge advantage, she attracts eyes to her, she knows how to move and how to make herself shine in the stage

Ok I know everyone's already stated their opinions, but personally, I've always seen Yoohyeon instead of Jiu as Dreamcatcher's best dancer after Sua. Simply because her movements are always super swift and fluid, while Jiu's can look a bit stiffer at times (note that I actually have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm no dancer, that's just what I've seen and what I think uwu)

1, SuA ofc she is the best 2, i prefer Siyeon dance moves to JiU but i think they are both good, just not as SuA 3, JiU 4, Dami = Yoohyeon i think 5, Handong 6, Gahyeon (she's still trying her best)

All of them are amazing dancers, but I dont think any member is at the level of SuA. I mean being objective isnt a bad thing, as I said they are all amazing, but SuA is clearly a step a bit higher

stopped watching as soon as i saw you placed dami on 4th lol that's slander. she has way better technique than jiu or yoohyeon. the latter two are more idol dancers, than overall dancer. dami is not at the same level as siyeon. the "proof" doesn't explain anything, just shows clips of the girls dancing. like if we could identify where they lack just by watching them dance, we would just find their dance videos instead of watching this one. what a clickbait.

she's not a very popular member. jiu is center, and since yoohyeon gets a lot of singing lines she gets to be center often too. dami gets overshadowed bc she only has her rap parts to shine. dreamcatcher doesn't do as much dance covers as they used to for her to be able to showcase her dance skills. it's unfortunate, really. "fans" do a lot of videos like these, with very biased opinions, pretending to be experts. and it's the first few videos new fans get to see.

Odd Eye's choreo just suited Yooh the best, but Jiu and Dami are still better dancers. Yooh has phenomenal charisma and has improved by leaps and bounds, but she's not quite there yet.

It's a shame she and Dami don't get more highlighted dance parts-Yooh or Siyeon are usually center so it's not as apparent-but if you watch their live stages you can really tell.

Dreamcatcher's choreographys are pretty harder and I sure If you try to dance it will look like a noodle. Gahyeon joined the group because of her dancer's skills, she is a great Dancer, just because she is last don't makes her a "mediocre" dancer
