They're one of my absolute favorite for colored eyeshadow base!! Elf and about-face matte eye paints! I prefer them to MAC paint pots. My other favorite is sigma eye primer in ignite, it's a pencil crayon type primer.

Hi Shelley 😂I used to be the person that they phoned from other wards to draw blood or place venflons into those with difficult veins (before disability meant I had to stop being a Registered Nurse). I learned to draw blood on the elderly and those who had chemotherapy, so I had a lot of experience in poor veins and would even take it from the feet rather than numerous attempts in the upper limbs (a bit more painful in the feet but one and done there is far better than several attempts in the arm, plus lymph node removal means you should not really take from that arm). Don’t let them keep trying more than twice per person is my advice re that. Congratulations on eight years and 40000 plus. Thank you for making it international too. Best wishes x

I've been on the fence about whether or not I want to try it because I can't stand being sticky. Happy birthday Ziva!! I love when your cats make appearances. Kind of tacky in a good way - like it holds on to foundation well but once you put the foundation on you can't feel the primer at all. I wouldn't wear the primer alone without foundation but as long as you're going over it with something it just kind of grips onto whatever you layer over it.

A nice drugstore mascara with that big hourglass brush style is Wet n Wild Big Poppa. I actually heard about it from Lisa Eldridge of all people, who used it in a look she did on herself for an event in the Grenadines. She said the Big Poppa does not smudge in hot humid conditions even though it's not waterproof. Can confirm! I do wish it didn't have a massive chunky plastic tube. Seems a bit wasteful, so much plastic. Good mascara though, and does not irritate by dry, sensitive eyes.

I heard about the skinny brow for 2024 at the beginning of the year and I've yet to see anyone wearing them. I inherited my mother's "invisible" brows so I won't be going there. 👁 Maybelline is cruelty free. The notion that China tests everything on animals before selling it is a myth. There are precious few cosmetics companies that still do animal testing.

I love the vinyl ink lip from Maybelline. It's a texture you have to get used to, but it wears so long and it's not drying like a normal liquid lip is. It's got that slightly shiny finish to it, so it doesn't look like butthole lips, you know? You make me laugh, Shelly. I always look forward to your videos. ❤

Shelly, next time you have blood drawn ask them to use your “intern’s” vein!” If you follow your thumbnail , down your thumb, over the big thumb knuckle and from big thumb knuckle straight to your wrist, it is the vein that you should see kind of bulging (or not) Touch/tap there a few times and it should come to the surface and bulge slightly! That’s it! I’m not gonna tell you it is completely comfortable to when blood is drawn from it--it does sting a bit, (not bad tho) but beats having someone fish for your veins!! My doctor told me about it! Happy Birthday Ziva! My kitty is 11 years old too! Congratulations Shelly! Never stop doing videos because I would miss your laugh so much! Hi Shelly! I need to pick up that essence product -- it looks beautiful! I also thought it looked too orange for me so good to know it may not be. Is there a particular drugstore primer that you might suggest for flaky skin? My nose constantly has some flakies going on and putting foundation on that texture just makes it so noticeable and yuck

Try the Wet n Wild Impossible Primer (the one in the squeeze tube - the stick is good too but it's not the same despite sharing the name). That primer can go head to head with my most expensive ones even when I'm flaking.
