Hi everyone!! Today we're trying new DRUGSTORE makeup!! I picked up the new e.l.f. Soft Glow Satin Foundation & wanted to do a full face of new drugstore makeup too. Have you tried any of these new drugstore makeup launches? xo Blair
✨W E A R. N O T E S✨ normal skin type/oily t-zone in summer
The foundation wore GREAT!! So impressed with this. No touch ups at all & my makeup looked great after 8 hours of wear. Brows also stayed in place all day. Mascara DID NOT SMUDGE!! The lip liner had definitely faded by the end of the day, but not totally. I like this formula, but it's not the most long lasting that I've tried from the drugstore. Overall, so happy with most of these products!

I have similar skin tone as you and the lightest shade in the butta bronzer gives the prettiest sunkissed look for a no makeup makeup day. It’s almost more like a really pale blush because it has a pink undertone but dusted across the fronts of cheek and nose (as demonstrated by Jen Phelps) might be my new favorite for light makeup days.

To get cream product from those pesky small pots, I use the topside of my long nail (at the tip) instead of my fingertip. Quick and less messy.😊

I love the way the Essence Lash Princess mascaras made my lashes look - long and voluminous, but they smudged on me more than any other mascara has! This one that lengthened, would be good to use with a thickening mascara - I always layer my mascaras, making sure to get both length and volume!

My two cents.The new Elf foundation does run sooo warm. I got medium neutral which is yellow and medium tan which is orange. I could color correct them, but I don’t like it enough to. Don’t bother with the Maybelline liquid blush. I got 3 dark shades and they are sheer and not the greatest formula. I do like the Milani cream bronzer. I already decluttered the Nyx bronzer, but I do have 2 blushes that I like. The $2 Elf lip liner is pretty good, not the most long lasting in comparison to some of my others, but not bad. I just bought the Essence mascara because I want to try a brown mascara without much investment, but I haven’t tried it yet.

All of the maybelline lifter blushes and bronzers are luminous. Also the shade you got is part of the 3 bronzer shades they have.

We are still waiting for the nyx blushes to come to the UK, I am desperate to try them! The essence mascara - was so excited to try this cos of the colour but it's flakes so bad so it went in the bin! My fave drug store mascara is the elf last extensions in brown...once you try a tubing mascara you can't go back to a normal one lol xx

I’ve been eyeing the ELF Lip Liners and was just waiting to see them at my local Ulta. The same with the lash extender mascara. They now have both and I am about to pull the trigger and get 5 of the 7 liners and the dark brown shade of the mascara 😊

i love the honest beauty cream blushes but i agree. cream shadows are also lacking especially potted cream shadows. loreal and revlon are the only two i can think of, and they haven't updated the formula in about 10 years.

I've seen a few ladies review that color & others & they all said the same thing... it was difficult to blend from the hand, disappeared & didn't give anything. I have not been a big fan of the Maybelline blush myself. I got 03 Sol something..It’s so sheer and tends to get patchy on me as well. I’ve personally been using mine as a blush topper/highlighter just to get use out of it. Sadly, it’s not gonna be a product I reach for often.

Technically not drug store, but definitely drug store priced- tons of beautiful cream blushes on YesStyle and Olive Young. Not just desaturated colors either, I just purchased some very vibrant Lilybyred and Holika Holika cream blushes.

I’ve heard the newer Physicians Formula cream bronzer is a good formula. Someone compared it to the MBM transforming skin enhancer. You should try it…for science. 😂😊

Oh i forgot.. the new Physicians Formula cream bronzer & contour wand both have great reviews just not a great shade range... but the lighter shades should work for you!🩷🧡💛
