New DUSTER METHOD to clean Storz and Bickel Mighty Cooling Chamber

Discovered this by accident. This is going to save so much time! The DataVac duster heats up quite a bit so the super hot high pressure air does a pretty thorough job of cleaning out all the build-up. Didn't notice the DataVac slogan until after the video... It is certainly the right tool for the job.

also to further investigate on your american ingenuity... by german design, those who do not apply on american stupidity, engineered the cooling cap in a way, it has more corners and straight lines than last nfs published game! so to clean this mighty+ with a duster is entirely wrong and should be taken apart and cleaned separately, preferably after each full session to minimize buildup.

This is by far the nastiest cooling unit I have ever seen. Most people care for their units far better than this. Take it apart, soak it in alcohol for 20mins, rinse & dry and they come out brand new.

Just buy a second CU and change it every week. Put it in a flat glass box in isoprop and every two weeks cleaning with a brush. takes 10min to clean both CUs. They are like a new one after that.

In your case you have to remove the isoprop from the reclaim, to safely vape it. When you use the methode of the Video, you can simply putting the reclaim in ur vape

If I'd use this method, I would: - do it just after vaping while the cooling chamber is still hot while making sure that the duster runs at least 30 seconds before the process. - take the mouthpiece off ✌️

There is always so much oil around the claw underneath the mouthpiece's o-ring, you would have to do it all by hand, which is difficult because of the very narrow grooves in the claw.

@Eric j FromBackInTheDay That resin heat it up on low fire with whole milk not fat free , long enough untill the resin desolves into the milk (it takes a while dont rush it) and thank me later and you dont need to do this anymore and evry week you have a bit resin for happy times :)

Ill just explain here so after a vape sesion you take off your cooling unit and open it . ( Wen its warm its easy to open) then you carefully scrape ( i use a potatoknife ) the resin out on a plate if you got all off it out you close it back and clean out the heating chamber with your ethanol or cleaning alcohol on toilet paper or a cloth wathever you like. Then for the screen use a cotton stick (that you put in the alcohol first) and scroll over it untill you need to change cotton stick rinse and repeat untill its clean and do that evry week u can even put a cotton stick in the mounth peace buth carefull. One big tip always tilt the device backwards while vaping and wen its hot so the resin comes to the back part off the cooling unit and you barely have resin on the mounthpeace anymore. So mutch better to clean that way. Also i always use the capsules (use only one capsule at the time just clean it after evry session if you can use you nails or toilet paper with some cleaning alcohol or ethanol)so it helps to keep the device clean as long you clean evry week and ones a month completely or like you think its time to clean it completely this method you can use your screens way longer and you have full potential off your device thank me later. i douby this is going to fully clean the chamber because of the way its build on the insid with the twist and all the little sections. in the video u didnt fully clean it and open it. what we see is not enough. it looks like you'd have to clean them with isopropyl anyway. and while cooling units are easy as hell to soak and clean anyway your method is useless for cleaning the heating chamber's built up wall residue which is actually so difficult to clean that you cant even complain about the cooling unit.

Thing is it's about getting effective. This is a brand new idea. Rev 1 of anything is less effective, but that doesn't make it worthless I was thinking heat(hair dryer?), then pressure(duster), then manual removal of reclaim at the mouth piece (plastic cleaning tool), then disassembly and chemical bath. But that chemical bath wouldn't need to be as often, maybe once every 4 or 5 cleanings. Also, those are like little heat sinks on the sides and top. So aim the heat at the flat parts, not the fins.

The brush and disposable cotton swabs wetted with drops of 190 proof ethanol easily clean oil from cooling unit surfaces. The alcohol also disinfects the unit, and keeps the brush clean, too. Now time to put on 707 headband.

The air gets very hot from the duster because it is actually a very high-performance (nearly 1 Horsepower!) duster that cools with the air it is blowing. I originally bought it for $60 and there are some other similar models out there. I love your idea about a hairdrier with a modified tip, that could also work great. I'm not sure why the duster works so well, if it is the heat, air velocity or both. The duster probably can generate higher pressure than a hair drier with tip, but still totally worth trying to see what kind of results are possible. An air compressor may also be worth trying, not sure how it would work.

It seems like it was never cleaned. Take that mouth piece out and soak it in alcohol the screen is removed by the other end. Just soak the cooling unit in alcohol use the factory brush. Then rinse under hot water dry install the screen and the blue gasket’s. It’s best not to soak the gasket’s just wipe with alcohol then rinse. Odd video but it was interesting 🧐 thank you

If u think on it much easy way .. Use your oven.i clean my dab rigs and nectar straws ..I turn oven on to 175 just hot enough to get wax dripping.then I use a quartz dish and put right under dab rig....looks like this has some plastic tho..I still think at a low temperature u can still put that mighty heat thing in oven...from the sound I thought guy was using a hair dryer using the heat to get resin build up to drip out...lol

I dunno man. This method doesn't really clean it. I think its easier to just put the whole cooling unit in hot milk and let all the residue dissolve. And then you drink the milk for fun times. If you want to collect the reclaim separately then a easy way is to open the cooling unit, put the pieces on a bit of baking paper and then set it down on a usb coffe mug warmer. 90% of it will drip down on to the paper in time. If u dont have coffe mug warmer then you can also do this in the oven (if your oven can go on a low temperature)

Damn bro this device looks like a grotty pos, and what comes out is nothing less than disgusting lol. Get yourself one or even a couple of exchange units. Have a big jar with isopropyl. Switch them every second day, disassemble, put in the glass for 5 min. Rinse with warm water, use q-tips to remove sediments which is barely necessary if you play it this way. Let dry, assemble, enjoy. :)

And that disgusting looking stuff is potent af, doesn't smell or taste amazing but its some strong stuff. I just clean the mighty with a dab tool and scrape it into a wax pot but think this is definitely worth a shot
