Hi, You can get details of all the Inward Remittances i.e. IRM. Post that you need to link that IRM with Shipping Bill/Invoice and generate E-BRC.

Guys - Please write to RBI to do away with this idiotic process of BRC. I got a notice from RBI after 2 years as I was not aware of BRC process. Fine was 2x of total remittances received. I am now in court with this; but really have given up on trying to export from India. Anways, I am moving my business to Dubai due to this; much easier and 0% income tax. If your turn over is more than 25 lakh, best to move there. Setup fee is about 13000 AED and they even give you visa, etc. Export from India is a pipe dream with no real backing on the ground - bas compliace mein hi fas jaoge and then keep giving bribes.

Sir, we started exporting from Sep 2023. However, we are not receiving any BRC from DGFT. We have asked the banker but they are not responding properly. What can we do for that, please suggest something.

You have to first provide all the documents relating to the shipment to your Banker. Post which Banker will generate E-BRC and upload it on DGFT Portal [This is the old method]. So if Banks are not responding, escalate the matter with the Branch Manager. Thanks for Watching and commenting.

Many people are saying that small exporters who send goods worth $15 $10 $20 $50 do not need to take EBRC. Only those exporters who have sales of Rs 8 lakh in 3 months will also have to take EBRC or is it only for big exporters who are exporting goods worth $2000, $5000, $10,000?
